On Mother’s Day, I joined in @wflworldrun. It was sponsored by @redbull. We were trying to run as many as we could to raise money before being caught by Carcher Car.
I did a progression run and got second place😁. Happy Mother’s Day. Pictures by @run.herd and @jameswoodleyphoto #wingslifeworldrun #stayfit305 #brickellrunclub #runadic #miamiflowrunclub by @chao_runner

Overall 3rd place🥉 23:40 for 4 miles.
It was nice to see runners in Fort Lauderdale. The @omiustech cooling technology headband was at my front head if you like to check out.
It was a battle with @jeromeontherun and @roedrunner_ after took off. I was a little scared of my fast pace. I was most of time at the first place first 2.5k. The motorcycle was leading us🙂. But it was turning at the headwind. They formed front and back to hold the wind, I scooped in at the tail. Matthew kept same pace and led the game at the turning point. Jerome dropped a little speed after 0.5-1k. I jumped into the second place. I was trying to catch Matthew. It was too late. I had no idea that Jerome accelerated and passed me. I had no way to get it even if I increased the speed😅. by @chao_runner

The Official Time was 1:25:47. It was even my best time😊! I’m happy with this performance to get through distal medial hamstring tendinopathy. I wore a cooling technology headband from Omius. It was really good. To be specific, this cooling technology headband fit me, I didn’t feel anything, even I thought I lost it. It wasn’t. I cooled myself down somehow. You better look into this, guys.
I was in a rush to get to the start line. I saw @lucholj , @lecsrun, @alexbeachi. My goal was 1:24. I was running with @runadic and Caroline Lefrak for 1:24. It was too fast at the first 5k(6:15-6:19 minutes/mile). That pace goes to 1:22. It killed me😩. Thiago Carone was catching up with us at 2 miles. I fell apart with a group of three after the first bridge. At this time, @wulffjp and @d_mejia10_ were running together. We were battling for about 2 miles. I fell behind with them after the second bridge. @enzo_vitali_regista_ passed me, too. It was 6:29-6:46 minutes/mile from 5-10k. @alegcan pumped up me and Daniel Menia when I was running at 11k. I heard voices from the cheer zone in the Design District. My speed dropped again from the third bridge. @james_manten was coming at the top of the bridge. He left me in the dust on the downhill. I had one gel to keep a steady pace. I was getting @lucas.lowder about 15k. It was tough to run alone from 8-11 miles(6:45-6:50 minutes/mile). Luckily, @runningwithlucho and @purolomitomiami were cheering up before the fourth bridge. @nicoguerscha and his group were chasing up on me. I didn’t feel tired after this bridge perhaps people were cheering us. It was lonely to run on the boardwalk because I didn’t see people at the front and back until Nicolas Calistro showed up at the corner of the end of the boardwalk. I sped up, he did, too. Meanwhile, I heard the voice from @runlittlehavana. We were sprinting back and forth at the last stretch. I lost one shoulder away from him😕. Check it out the website for Omius and DM for the code. #omiustech #runadic by @chao_runner

I was doing media work at the #miamimarathon last weekend. I had a knee irritation and inflammation, so I was resting. I would run as a pacer if I would choose though. As you can see, both full and half marathon medals. Dominic Ondoro was 2:17:48.Beadlet amakuvire was 2:20:14. @alexbeachi had 2:29:48. The Chinese runner Siqi Wu 2088 was a 3:00 pacer(Boston Marathon 2:38🤫). Another Chinese senior runner Tian Wang(frequent sub 3:00, his name translates into English, it will be bad-ass😂). Three guys were from the Lauderdale Run Club. @roedrunner_ atthew was 2:51:13. Carlos Gordian ran 3:09:01. @jack.rozak got 3:10:33. John Rojas checked 3:47:42 from @browardrunningsociety. Thank you for @runadic. by @chao_runner

I was presenting @achilles_international at the New York City Marathon. It was great time to meet people and staff. The official time was 3:01:02. It was a tough course.
I was panic about medial plica syndrome. It is overtrained. There was still irritation or inflammation after chasing Eliud Kipchoge.
I think it was too much to set up my goal this time. I was at the pink lower corral, which is Verrazan Narrows Bridge. I was looking for two 2:55 pacers, but I didn’t see them. People ran fast after launching.
My goal was 2:54. It was a long bridge. My shoelace was loose after 1k🫥. It was my second time at the race. I sped up to cover the lost time on the downhill of 2k. It is 2 miles long of this bridge. I started the steady pace between 6:32-6:42 minutes/mile from 2-7 miles. It was very crowded at the race. There were three color blue, pink, and orange of waves to start at the different levels of the bridge. We merged into 5 miles. I had 2:50,2:55, and 3:00 pace bands on my wrist to check the time. I bumped into one Chinese running friend and knew his goal was 2:55 at over 10k and he was looking for the photographer at the Chinese runner group. I increased my pace a little bit. It was a small uphill from mile 8-9, my pace was 6:59-7:06 minutes/ mile.
I was heading to the second an uphill at 9-11 miles, my pace was at 6:37-7:15 minutes/mile. It is impressive that Jewish people crossed over course three times at the Clinton Hill of Brooklyn, one mum was holding her kid to cross, I had to slow down😳.
I was at 6:34-6:47 minutes/mile from 18-23k. I got a couple of Maurten gels at mile 12. What’s more, the 2:55 pacer group exceeded me. I realized that my pace was a little bit slow. It was a little bit hot after the first half. I felt it was hard to run on the Queensboro Bridge. I slowed down my pace, and some runners passed me include that Chinese friend. He told me that he kept it up between miles 14-15. I noticed that my left thigh has a little tired. I ate one Maureen gel and was energetic. I made a mistake to catch up with the 2:55 pacer group. My pace was 5:58-6:23 mins/mile from 16-19 miles. I had a cramp at mile 20. The rest speed was from 6:43-7:39 min/mi. by @chao_runner

Summer Series of races at the #lauderdalerunclub. I got a third place🥉11:25 on 8/5/2025 at the Unsactioned 2-mile race. @josesinacento1 won the race🥳. On 8/14/2025, I got a second place🥈at a 1-mile trial 5:13. Once this race, @carlossontherun was competing in the rest of the series. On 8/26/2025, I got the second place 🥈11:04😖.
I arrived at the this race last minute. I was the first one after the first 800m until the half circle at the Esplanade Park. Carlos chose to run straight, I wasn’t able to surpass.
On 9/30/2025, I was leading the race. Carlos was sprinting over me after the bridge at the last moment. I did the second-place🥈again 10:45🤣. by @chao_runner
