![i finally caught up…
art by the wonderful: @summerrgrove ✨

alex you are a MAN. i loved the dynamic of daybreak in comparison to nightshade because it felt like the natural emotions to follow book one but the yearning(!!!) really did have me in a chokehold. SO good. I did slightly miss the tension of the plot from the first book, however i also think doing the same sort of thing would have been too similar of a format and i don’t think we could have had their story wrapped up the way we did (which i loved)
ophelia kept her sparky personality which i was so nervous about and alex was just glorious in a way i don’t think i can express in words yet.
nightshade is juuust edging it for me but i loved this and devoured it in a couple of sittings.

it’s been on my tbr for the longest time, i was already so delayed to one dark window (but absolutely love love loved it) and i said i didn’t want to repeat that with the knight and the moth, yet here we are. i told myself i wanted to wait until book two was out so i could read them back to back and now it’s out so no more delaying for me!

Download ![welcome to a new series!!
✨bookish marketing that I’m loving lately✨
As a publishing girly working in marketing, I love keeping up to date with news in the industry and especially the marketing behind it.
So have a swipe and see some marketing moments from september (so far) that have caught my eye…
#bookishmarketing #bookstagramuk #bookishcreator #publishinggirly #bookishcommunity [book marketing, author marketing, publishing industry, publishing news, book girlies, book besties, romance books, book adaptations]
i started seeing tweets alll over my feed on this and if this was or wasn’t a reveal/teaser and i LOVE it. it feels so perfect for the readership of em henry and a new book announcement is always the best kind of news from her (this teaser is still to be confirmed at the time of posting)
of course a SOTR mention…
if you’re a fan of the book (or any of the other hunger games books) like i am, then you’ll know that as a reader the emotion and depth is unmatched and music has always complimented the series so perfectly so this track list reveal has got allll my spidey senses going and i can’t wait to see what artists have been involved.
bloomsbury 👏👏👏
considering these books would need no marketing to be successful, i love seeing the team play into the excitement. specifically, i loved the lucien quote reveal and the surrounding content (the team really are just like the rest of us)
special mention to the equinox kit they’ve been promoting as well - the amount of content and engagement they’ll get from this is amazing and such a fun way for everyone to stay excited together.
technically adaption marketing but i fear it still counts, right?
lili reinhart is really doing allll of the rom-com and book girlies a favour with this. every single homage to our favourite yearning rom-coms is scratching an itch i didn’t know i had. so wholesome, so fun and so the right way to keep the book girlies who loved the love hypothesis optimistic and eager about the film.
now i know it’s not fourth wing book 4, but i’m still super excited for threshing day and dipping a toe back into the world we love.
i’ve particularly loved the quote countdown that Rebecc by @chapterswithtamara](https://s4.imginn.com/792910076_17968739640169256_2493656916907409771_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/792910076_17968739640169256_2493656916907409771_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1290x1290_tt6&_nc_cat=106&ig_cache_key=Mzk5MTM1ODgxMzQzMTM2NzAxNA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTQ4NS5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=UYKJ32zSsjgQ7kNvwHxJ4v1&_nc_oc=AdrtOn7y91KDVBeQuQFx1WBAYakqD6pURjKzTVIUm1jPn1A0ibLyaFpBQWX5oMwW5DPuE4xVek-LICyfzXrHL4wW&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=yfR87J1R-sHH2r-K-Z-pXA&_nc_ss=7a22e&oh=00_AQPRk-_ANRaMFHjKzRnUR2V0yLruEfYMHob77E97UDWIBA&oe=6AD52658)
