Join us at Solace Bar on October 31st for a day-to-night celebration of the people, sounds and creative energies that have shaped the label over the past five years.

Born in Naarm/Melbourne, Club Elevate has always been about more than music. Through the label, podcast, events and collaborations, it has created a platform for local and international artists to share their work, stories and influences while building genuine connections across Melbourne’s diverse creative community.

The 5th Birthday brings that community together in one space, beginning with a curated community market featuring Hotplate, a collaboration between @solace.bar and @_pinsnneedles. The market will host record sellers, food, and stalls by local creatives, as well as an interactive vinyl masterclass with one of Naarm’s most trusted selectors. As day moves to night, the focus shifts towards the dancefloor, with music by @afrodisiac.au, @blinkybill.1, @char.rooney, @dj.earlgrey, @jd____________ly, @lums_world, @mordi_mcfly, @ricky_nord and @trreyclark. The space will also be transformed by immersive art and decor installations to create a distinctive visual identity for the celebration.

More than an anniversary party, the event is an opportunity for us to show gratitude to our people, the reason Club Elevate exists and the reason it continues to evolve.

Our first mix of 2026 is courtesy of Naarm-based DJ, Charlie @char.rooney , who co-runs the Deuce party series alongside Jimmy (aka Ambedo).

For this mix, Charlie delves deep into a slightly different side of her sound. Traversing Café-del-Mar chillout, to dub techno and liquid d'n'b, this epic three hours delivers the most perfect summer soundtrack.

My set from @spicymusic_tas ᭄᭡

This set was recorded in Lutruwita/Tasmania back in August, where I played after local DJ @jocelyn_parry_jones who warmed up the floor perfectly, and before Naarm/Melbourne’s @hasvat_informant. The set explores the deep, psychedelic and textural corners of techno that I love, with a focus on multi-layering, long blends and slowly breathing energy into the room.

This event will take place on the land of Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. Charlie, Deuce Events & Dr Morse acknowledge & extend their respect to Elders past & present. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Rooted in community and shaped by an immersion in Naarm’s underground, Charlie’s sound translates freely across spaces. As a DJ, co-founder of Deuce Events and curator at Club Elevate, she continues to co-create spaces with intention, placing local talent and diverse artists at the forefront.

Charlie has shared the booth with Rødhåd, Rene Wise and KiNK, a reflection of her deepening reach and finely tuned curation.

Her selections move with fluidity through the many realms of electronica. Her sets create space for introspection and movement, curiously exploring minimal, progressive and textural influences.
