With over a decade behind the decks, Ed Kent has earned his place on lineups like Pitch Music & Arts, Strawberry Fields and the upcoming A3 festival. Forgotten house B-sides, rolling techno tools and deranged no wave curveballs all land with considered intent, making for sets that are both unpredictable and enthralling.

Co-founder of Deuce Events and curator at Club Elevate, Charlie is rooted in Naarm’s underground. Her sets move fluidly through minimal, progressive and textural sounds, creating space for both introspection and movement.

@traebashford
With positions as both the co-owner of Grove, Gratitude & Gouda and the CEO of Google, Trae Bashford finds time in between the action to thread together layers dubby and heady atmospheres; bringing a unique sonic experience to every room.

@emmaslaven
Born and raised in Canberra, Emmie has since gone onto lineups and gigs with national breakouts like Roza Terenzi. She weaves prog, ambient, and techno to take dancefloors on journeys as captivating as they are unpredictable.

Join us at Solace Bar on October 31st for a day-to-night celebration of the people, sounds and creative energies that have shaped the label over the past five years.

Born in Naarm/Melbourne, Club Elevate has always been about more than music. Through the label, podcast, events and collaborations, it has created a platform for local and international artists to share their work, stories and influences while building genuine connections across Melbourne’s diverse creative community.

The 5th Birthday brings that community together in one space, beginning with a curated community market featuring Hotplate, a collaboration between @solace.bar and @_pinsnneedles. The market will host record sellers, food, and stalls by local creatives, as well as an interactive vinyl masterclass with one of Naarm’s most trusted selectors. As day moves to night, the focus shifts towards the dancefloor, with music by @afrodisiac.au, @blinkybill.1, @char.rooney, @dj.earlgrey, @jd____________ly, @lums_world, @mordi_mcfly, @ricky_nord and @trreyclark. The space will also be transformed by immersive art and decor installations to create a distinctive visual identity for the celebration.

More than an anniversary party, the event is an opportunity for us to show gratitude to our people, the reason Club Elevate exists and the reason it continues to evolve.
