💛 This kitchen in a 1930s Spanish Revival home stopped me in my tracks.

Yellow tile everywhere, even across the ceiling, an original built-in soap dispenser and tucked into the countertop, a built-in trash chute with its own little metal lid.

It’s the kind of kitchen where the longer you look, the more details you find.

There was a time when even the most practical rooms in a house were designed with personality. Not everything needed to be white, new or perfectly streamlined.

🌷At 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔, we celebrate the architecture, history and unique details that give a home its character.

✨A city landmark for $1.1M.

Barker & Webster designed this house in 1908 for A.C. Tobias, the developer who built three bungalows on this block. The owners spent five years restoring it, from the basement walls to the kitchen to the original utility sink. The roof was replaced a little over a year ago.

New price: $1,100,000

Open house Sunday, October 18, 2pm-5pm
