Had A Good Summer by @charenkan

Just some dreamy moments I’ve taken time to reflect on after this year’s birthday!

Sometimes, I’ll look around and think, “Wow this is so good — it feels like a dream.” And other times, I’ll look around and think, “Wow this is so painful — I wish it was a dream.” I’ve always smiled, or maybe smirked, at the cheeky response, “I’m just living the dream.” I always wonder, “What does one mean by that?” But perhaps, that’s what I’m doing too — not living a life of ease void of pain or inconvenience but a life of fullness embracing whatever is in front of me. Perhaps dreams occur not only when I’m fully asleep but when I’m fully alive.

What a really cool thing it is to be alive and awake to life — to receive God’s gifts of profound joy, love, freedom, peace, contentment, and hope.

Thank you God for your generosity. Thank you friends for your generosity. I can’t believe I get to live this life — it’s a dream! by @charenkan

Turned 30 a month ago and made my first reel. Guess I’m grown now. Grateful to age, to live, to become. Even more grateful for the best of friends, both near and far, who I get to do these things with.

More photos of this past year to come. Hope that’s ok!!! by @charenkan

Now adding a solo trip to my annual rhythms. Ended this summer with a New England road trip that honestly just felt like a big hug from God. taken in Acadia National Park by @charenkan

Just over here feeling sentimental. Celebrated a new year of life in April, and May just flew by. So here I am late to reflecting on some treasured moments from this past year. by @charenkan
