Thank you all for the support on my last post ❤️ It genuinely means a lot.

I’m currently developing a new scripted TV project, which I’ll be announcing in due course. It’s one I’m incredibly excited about, and I can’t wait to share more as it develops. 🔜 taken in Los Angeles, California by @charlessims_

Twelve months ago, I sat down to write my first short screenplay.

It started as a blank page. A way to learn, tell a story, be creative and inevitably make plenty of mistakes.

Along the way, I was fortunate to receive feedback from writers and filmmakers I admire. One piece of advice changed everything:

“You have the goods, but you haven’t found your style. What makes you different from everyone else?”

That question completely changed the way I approached rewriting One Way or Another and every script I’ve written since. It pushed me to stop trying to sound like other writers that I studied and start finding my own voice.

As I moved into writing feature films and developing TV pilots. Rather than leave One Way Or Another on the shelf, I entered it into a handful of screenplay festivals. More out of curiosity than expectation. I genuinely didn’t think a gritty British crime drama would be so well received with judges in the US.

I was wrong.

Last night I had the privilege of celebrating One Way or Another as a finalist for Best International Short Screenplay at the Marina del Rey Film Festival in Los Angeles, alongside recognitions from other international screenplay competitions.

It’s a small step in what I hope is a long journey, but every project teaches you something.

Thank you to everyone who has read the script, offered feedback or encouraged me along the way.

There’s plenty more to come. This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for updates on future developments ✍️🎥 taken in Lumiere Cinema at the Music Hall by @charlessims_

Wow, what a night for the team! 💥

@georgeliddard_ makes history, becoming the youngest British Middleweight Champion in 118 years of British boxing and he did it in style, also claiming the Commonwealth title on the same night with a statement victory over the experienced Conway. 🏆

@jimmysains followed suit as co-chief support, capturing the English and Commonwealth Silver Middleweight titles in emphatic fashion at a sold-out York Hall, London. 🔥

The future is shining bright for @tonysims_ middleweight protégés, both stepping up, delivering, and announcing themselves as serious forces in the domestic scene. 🇬🇧🥊
