Tony Sims

Tony Sims is a coach built on experience — forged long before the spotlight.

A former fighter himself, Sims understands the demands of the sport from the inside. That experience now shapes everything he brings into the corner — calm instruction, structure, and a deep understanding of what fighters need when the pressure is highest.

From the Matchroom Elite Boxing Gym in Essex, he has built one of the most respected stables in British boxing.

Working with fighters like Conor Benn, Johnny Fisher, and George Liddard, Sims continues to develop talent across levels — blending aggression with discipline and turning potential into real threat.

His resume speaks for itself — guiding multiple champions and top-level contenders including Darren Barker, Ricky Burns, and Joe Cordina.

But Sims isn’t about noise.
He’s about consistency.
Repetition.
Preparation.

Day after day.
Round after round.

Because great fighters aren’t found.
They’re built — in the gym

Well what can i say. 14-0 and a new belt to the collection whilst headlining at the Copper Box Arena, I’d be lieing if I said I was entirely happy with my performance but I feel I showed sides to my game and character Saturday night that I hadn’t yet had the chance to show !

I want to thank God first for everything he has done and continues to do in my life.

I want to thank @tyler_denny91 for a great fight, gave it his absolute all in there and wish him all the best with whatever is next,

I also want to thank @matchroomboxing @eddiehearn @franksmith for their belief in me headlining the biggest venue of my career to date and for the opportunities the continue to give me, here’s to more big nights together 👊🏼🙌🏼

I want to thank my team @tonysims_ @charlessims_ @rickymcfarlane.pwr @clesposci @_john_ryder_ @seltz_machine_boxing_ @toffeebill59 for all the work they have put in to making me ready to keep winning and picking up titles.

A lot to work on from this, but if you can learn a lot from your wins I feel like you are well on the path to greatness, very excited to see what comes next !

Here is to picking up more titles this year ⚒ Thanks to every single one of you who continue to come and support this journey !
