✨ A New Chapter ✨

To my amazing cosplay family — thank you. 💫 For every photo, every convention laugh, every kind word, and every bit of support you’ve shared with me over the last 13+ years. Cosplay has been such a beautiful part of my life, and it’s brought me memories (and friendships) I’ll treasure forever.

As I turn the page into a new chapter, I’ll be stepping away from professional cosplay to fully embrace my next adventure — as a writer. 📖✍🏾

You’ll still see me around at conventions (I could never stay away completely!), but this time, I’ll be showing up in a new light — sharing stories, worlds, and characters from my upcoming novel & short stories. 💕

Thank you for being part of my creative journey so far. I hope you’ll stay with me as I finish out this year with cosplay and move toward literature in 2026! 💛

I wanted to take some time before August was over to give a big thank you to @tworoosters !!!!

My sister, Cassie, met Jared of Two Roosters years ago when he was scooping ice cream from their truck at a food truck rodeo in Raleigh! She spoke so highly of the ice cream- and that’s high praise because we are an ICE CREAM family! lol

After that meeting, I remember attending shortly after the opening of their first location with my family, I cosplayed as Storm in an advertisement for them, and we always brought our friends and family to Two Roosters for a nice sweet treat 🍦

While Cassie was in hospice having trouble eating, my youngest sister, Sam, reached out to Jared explaining how much Two Roosters meant to Cassie! Her absolute favorite flavor was Peach and Blue Corn Cookie, but it was not in season for March. Despite not being on the menu that month, the team whipped up a batch for us and delivered it to the hospice!!! When Cassie passed, we passed the pint around and everyone took a spoonful of her favorite ice cream.

Saturday was Cassie’s birthday! And despite Peach and Blue Corn Cookie being discontinued, they brought it back this month! 💕💕💕
Please if you have some time today, get a scoop or a cone or a pint of Cassie’s favorite before it’s gone at the end of the month 💚 Thank you again for all you do Two Roosters! And thank you for letting us celebrate her birthday with something so special to us 🙏🏽🕊️

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY to my little sister!!!! 🥳
-
Today is officially @samimack 30th birthday! I surprised her a few weeks ago with a surprise sister trip for her 30th and of course I had to invite her friends!!!!! Thank you so much to my partner in crime @joeydomanski for helping me plan and keep the secret! Also thanks to our mom for helping me craft and make our Tote bags and tee shirts for the trip!!!! And of course @riverabakehouse for the last minute cake!!!!

Outside of the trip- I’m so happy to celebrate you today 💕 30 is all about stepping into who you truly are with no worries about who people want you to be and I see you doing so much of that already 💕💕
It’s so weird because I remember when you were born and I was so happy to have a younger sibling and to find out that sibling would be another sister 💕
I know it’s been the hardest year for us- but I know Cassie is proud of who you are and she is celebrating with us 💕💕💕 I love you always!!! by @charlierocketcosplay

Girl time photo dump💕

Growing up I didn’t have a lot of girlfriends so I never thought girl time was needed for me. But as I get older I realize that was because I was so close with my sisters and my cousins. I didn’t realize I had more girl time back then than most do in a lifetime!

I miss Cassie so much 💔 I feel like we were the masculine 😈 and feminine 👼 on someone’s shoulder and I miss my feminine counterpart.

So the past week has been really important to me. Last weekend I was so blessed and happy to celebrate my youngest sister’s 30th birthday! And we had such a relaxing and fun trip with her friends! I enjoyed their company and jokes/stories so much 💕
Yesterday was also a great day! I started the morning with @ebunni_purrl and @spitfiresiren and her babygirl at the pool 💕💕 talking about ACOTAR and drinking Starbucks refreshers lol

Then I had a surprise visit from my sister @samimack and my baby niece- dropping off a gift from @crazyalansemporium !!! 🙌🏽💕 We are starting our pen pal journey and I had no supplies lol

And I ended the night meeting up with my mom and @misskeller_ (One of Cassie’s besties) for dinner at @leositaliansocial 💕💕

This year has been harder than anything I’ve ever been through. Losing my younger sister has left me drifting through life. I have been working out, but I haven’t been present. I haven’t been outside of my house for much. Seeing people had been few and far between. I’m not answering messages or posting. I’m not even doing my Legos or cosplaying or writing. Just the every day things. But my new motto is “but we are learning and growing.” After everything I say, I finish it up with “but we are learning and growing.”

I look forward to more good days amongst the haze 💕💕 Thank you for your patience as I find myself again 💕
