the grief has been heavy the last couple weeks.

My father’s father passed away before my parents’ wedding, so I never had a grandfather on my dad’s side. That is until Mr. Robinson came along. When I was in middle school, my grandmother reconnected with him via facebook and after a few visits to NC, they were engaged lol. Very quickly, it was as if he had always been there. He was invested in my volleyball career and was always so supportive of everything I did since. Even when he moved back to Maryland we wrote letters to each other, but I wish life hadn’t been so crazy and I didn’t allow it to fall off.

I have been so blessed and feel the deepest gratitude to have had you as a grandfather, Pop pop.

Love and miss you always. I hope you’re resting well 🤍✨

This is a BIG win! After losing my sister this year, I haven’t touched my book at all since the year started! I jumped back into the editing process finally just a few weeks ago and I’m trying to hit the ground running!

I’ve never been good with remembering to take pictures of myself or during events. years ago, I started making a habit of just taking pictures of little things throughout the day that bring me joy, as a gratitude practice.

Deep in grief, motherhood, and my saturn return 🪐🖤 life will never be the same without my leo sister, but we’ll always be celebrating our season together! change and transformation are often a painful process, but there’s still so much beauty in life. I could’ve never guessed what life would look like at 30, but I’m so deeply grateful.
