There are obviously more steps to teaching this trick to your dog… Rebel already has the foundation! 🐾✨

When you teach a dog the command “bounce”, you’re going to first have the board as a way lower angle and just get your dog comfortable with stepping on it.

Then you can start raising the angle little by little and rewarding when they make an effort to get up on the board and touch it like Rebel is seen doing in the beginning!

And like with any trick, you’re going to repeat over and over and making the stakes for a treat higher so they are pushed to perform the trick better and better!

Another tip to get the full spring off the board is putting your foot on it like our trainer Ellie in this video is doing. This pushes your dog to really connect with the board and BOUNCE back off of it by having to jump over your leg!

Practice makes perfect! 🥰✨

Eventually you move away from a full lure and just use the command!

Would you teach this to your pup? 🤩✨
