Imagine your students leading their own editorial board, designing prompts, and publishing a magazine for the entire school community! That’s the magic of CHARM’s School Magazine Club 📝📚

We’re now inviting schools to partner with us for the 2025–2026 year. 🎉

🎥 Watch the video to see the impact, then visit the link in our bio (“CHARM'S School Based Magazine Clubs”) to learn more!

BALTIMORE CITY, I need your help!

I’m creating an opportunity I wish I had when I was a young writer scribbling poems and raps in my composition notebook in middle and high school.

I’d like to introduce Project: My Youth, My Lessons on Life, an accelerated, three week (three day) creative writing, poetry and SEL workshop for Baltimore youth ages 13-18.

Project: My Youth, My Lessons on Life is created by poet and writer Wallace Lane and inspired by his forthcoming book, My Youth, My Lessons on Life: As Told By The Poet & The Young OG. This biyearly workshop, in collaboration with @charmlitmag , is an initiative that allows young writers to write, create and publish in just a few weeks.

If you know a young writer who is serious about publishing their work OR a young writer that needs a little push to share their work with the world, then please send them this graphic!!! Scan the QR code or visit bit.ly/ProMYML SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND WILL FILL UP FAST!!! No prior publishing experience is needed!! Tag/send to your young writers, to your teachers, to parents and youth organizations!!!

Youth voices matter. It’s our unofficial motto, and it’s the star that guides everything we do!

Whitney shares why youth voices belong at the center of an organization and what our student editors have built beyond the page.

Swipe to read her note.

This morning, members of the team attended the Power of Place-Based Investment symposium hosted by @baltimoreunityhall. We’re so grateful for the conversation on why place matters, how community engagement should actually work, and what it takes to build something that lasts. Thank you for the space to learn and connect! taken in Baltimore Unity Hall by @charmlitmag
