Few people understand beauty more than @charmossny. Over her forty-year career, Charlotte has built a world that extends well beyond decorating. Her work encompasses gardens, antiquities, entertaining, travel, and a general curiosity about how we live.

In her latest book, Charlotte Moss: At Home in Virginia, Charlotte takes us inside the Charlottesville home and garden she created with architect Stan Dixon @dsdixonarchitect, landscape designer @johnhoward, and a remarkable group of craftspeople. “There are things you hunt for and things that just find you,” explains Charlotte.

What happens when you look at a painting of an interior and never know who lived there, but spend years imagining their story? That’s exactly how Charlotte describes her collection of interior paintings:

“The rooms are what drew me. They have a great mystery. I don’t want to know whose room it was. I want to dream about whose room it was.” @charmossny
