Right time. Right place. Being with nature is what it’s all about. It’s a place where everything slows down. It’s about the experiences, both the best and worst. Turkey hunting has its challenges. It takes weeks to months of preparation, scouting, gear, bugs, and knowledge that I have yet to learn. Zach has put the time and effort in, to say the least. He has taught me tons. We started to build our ground blind several weeks in advance of opening day for Spring Turkey Season. We woke up extra early Saturday morning to get into the blind. After sitting and listening to everything surrounding us for close to three hours, we had finally landed a stud of gobbler, which was both our first turkey 🙏
