My new song Widows 🖤🥀✝️ 🌕

I actually blasted it whilst I was driving today, pretended it was someone else’s song on the radio and was like yes this is actually a banger 😆🤘🤷‍♀️

The last time I performed live almost a year ago already!!!!

Thank you @simply_hawkeye for such a great night at your album launch and to @turner_photographs for capturing some of my set that evening 🙏

I’m a bit out of the live scene loop these days after some time as a musical hermit and struggling to know where to begin again! 🐚🫣

If you think my music and general vibe would be the right fit for an event, support slot or collaboration (or you know someone who might!) then I’d love to hear from you ☺️🤘🖤

📢 🤘AMPED UP VOICES!📢🤘

I’m excited to be collaborating with fellow musician @lexiromeo96 to bring you 🎶AMPED UP VOICES🎶 THIS SATURDAY 27th April at @no18venue Rutherglen.

Amped Up Voices is an afternoon of songwriting and music making for S1-S6 girls and non-binary teens. An amazing FREE opportunity for those who would like to get some hands on musical experience, learn their favourite instrument and find out a little more about the industry.☺️🎙️🎹 🎸🥁

Maybe you already play or perhaps you’ve never picked up an instrument in your life - either way we’re there to support your passion for music (We might even get a bit arts and crafty too with some DIY band posters!)

If you fancy it or know a young person who does then get in touch - we have a few spaces left! 🫶 taken in Number 18 VENUE by @chasingmabon

🖤🍀I’m on a roll🍀🖤

Actually am on a roll with the little goal I’ve set myself - posting music every day on socials, don’t worry about the perfect set up etc etc, just do it.

A cover of Lucky by Radiohead which was originally recorded for their contribution to the Warchild Help album in 1995 during the Bosnian war 🫶 by @chasingmabon

🖤 Words like violence break the silence 🖤

Impromptu cover of Enjoy the Silence to get myself back on social media 🤫

I hate being on video or in photos which is a problem when trying to be an online musician! (And unfortunately I don’t think I’m cool enough to get away with being some brooding and mysterious shadow figure 😆)

How iconic was Dave Gahan in this video btw? 👑⛰️ by @chasingmabon

My EP (or MIX TAPE if you saw my story last week 😆🤭) THE MOON AND HER MANY WIDOWS comes into its own at this bleak but beautiful time of the year, darkening and nestled between Samhain and mindwinter 🌕☁️🖤🥀🔥

Especially THIS song Dark Protagonist. It’s a bit eerie, atmospheric and also a grunge-ish 90s style banger if that’s your thing 🤘🖤

A music industry person once told me that you should never tell anyone what your song is about and I should stop doing that….I think what a load of shit so here is a song about the shipping forecast and periods ok🤘⛴️🌊

Keep watching for a ⚡️⚡️TRANSFORMATION!⚡️⚡️

Don’t get excited it’s not a Queer Eye style glow-up, more of a musical transformation 😂

LOVE this song and have covered it TO DEATH over the years. I always wanted to do a “proper” version of it but back then I didn’t know how I’d even go about doing anything like that! Chasing Mabon wasn’t a thing at this stage. Fast forward 4 years & here is the “proper” cover (recorded a wee while back as promo for EP)🤘

Thanks my go-to-girl @mirakrocks for the slick production and videography! Mira on electric guitar and synth, @mattmcg_bass on that sultry bassline

Challenging myself to get back in socials and share some songs more regularly (mostly my own work but some fun covers too!).

My EP The Moon and Her Many Widows is available to listen now, just go to link in my bio and please stream so that I can make another 7pence from Spotify 😂🤘

Been playing around with this today after one of my piano students wanted to learn it - great to see it becoming popular recently! 🌎 Maybe it’s on a soundtrack or something at the moment?
