POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thanks alot to everyone that came out to the all or nothing short film screening last night, you all made it a special night that I'll never forget. To all the people got a ticket, all the people that bought merch and all the talented people that performed it was something special ❤️

I tried to do something different with this one amd not have just a traditional hip hop gig, and every single one of you made it possible 💯

The reviews i got back from the film have been amazing so far, I'd love to take this format to other places and do it again so if anyone can make that happen get in touch 😀

A special shout out to @mackenziescottishrap because without him none of this would be possible 🙌

🌼This music is bringing me to life🌼

A beautiful quote from one of our Mind Waves Community Jam participants 🥹 Music, creativity and laughter in a friendly environment really is good for the soul 💛

At last week’s session we did a lot of group singing (including this song!), put a group member’s poetry to music and played with some cool synth sounds and percussion to add atmosphere to our performances. We also had a cuppa, biscuits and excellent chat ☕️

Why not join Ali and Marie this Thursday 11.00-12.30 at Project Ability, 103 Trongate, Glasgow? It’s an open floor with no pressure to share and lots of welcoming friendly vibes! Open to everyone 💛

Keep watching for a ⚡️⚡️TRANSFORMATION!⚡️⚡️

Don’t get excited it’s not a Queer Eye style glow-up, more of a musical transformation 😂

LOVE this song and have covered it TO DEATH over the years. I always wanted to do a “proper” version of it but back then I didn’t know how I’d even go about doing anything like that! @chasingmabon wasn’t a thing at this stage. Fast forward 4 years & here is the “proper” cover (recorded a wee while back as promo for EP)🤘

I’m moving all my Insta stuff over to my Chasing Mabon page - hope you’ll follow me there! 🤘🙏 ☺️

Thanks my go-to-girl @mirakrocks for the slick production and videography! Mira on electric guitar and synth, Matt on that sultry bassline 🤘

Surprise!!!!

Ahead of our May gig (the 25th!!) we're announcing the support acts for the evening!

Secondly we have the incredible Marie!! Also known as Chasing Mabon, the eccentric singer/songwriter! After releasing her own EP, The Moon and her Many Widows! I've always been obsessed with Marie's vocals and songs so I just had to have her play at my gig! I can't wait to hear violet storms again live 🙌

Editing credits: @letinetor

Make sure you follow her to see any posts about the evening as well as her own content!!
