📦🎃 We’re looking for volunteers to help us with EQUALUX on Halloween night, October 31.

Volunteers to the front who: are comfortable moving and packing up events and handling valuable auction items.

Volunteer roles may include:
📦 Carefully packing silent auction items
💪 Moving event materials and supplies
🧹 Helping tear down and pack up the event

Costumes are absolutely encouraged, but not required. We’ll provide volunteers with a meal, and snacks during the event, plus a free ticket to the official EQUALUX After Party at Koko’s (@kokos.seattle).

Today we cheered the community on at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held by @alzassociation !

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. by @cheerseattle

This weekend we were delighted to cheer on participants at the Walk to End Lupus Now at Lake Union Park! We kicked off early performing alongside Blue Thunder, lead warm up stretching, and sent walkers off at the start line. It was amazing meeting warriors and supporters of the community.

Walk to End Lupus Now events provide all people affected by lupus and their families the opportunity to come together for one unified purpose, to end lupus. Seattle was one of 60 cities to host a walk to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact. by @cheerseattle

We were thrilled to return to the Fiestas Patrias Parade in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle this year! The theme was “Healthy Communities, Vibrant Cultures” and hosted by Sea Mar Community Health Centers in collaboration with Seattle Center Festál. It commemorates the independence of various Latin American countries with national holidays in September and is a celebration of Latino heritage.

We marched and cheered in the parade, along side floats, hot rods, dancers, horses, and musicians. It was a beautiful way to celebrate our local community! by @cheerseattle

Ever wondered what it would be like to join an adult cheer or dance team, but thought, “I could never do that”?

YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN.

Cheer Seattle is an all-adult, nonprofit cheer and dance organization using cheer, dance, and volunteering to raise funds, awareness, and spirits for the LGBTQIA+ community. And you don’t need cheer, dance, or performance experience to join us!

Whether you want to:
💙 Stunt, jump, tumble & hype up a crowd with our Sapphire Squad
💚 Dance, kick, leap & perform with our Emerald Squad
💎 Support performances, events & fundraising behind the scenes with our Diamond Squad

…there’s a place for you here.

Our 26–27 season starts this month, and our Open Calls are your chance to come meet us, try things out, and see what Cheer Seattle is all about. No experience required. No membership dues. Just bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a little stamina!
