POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Some moments on film from last months @outofoffice.network residency

 A few reflections:

- We need community most when we pivot.
Everyone in this group showed up at some kind of turning point. One person had been laid off and wanted to be intentional about what is coming next. Some were leaving long careers to finally bet on themselves. Others were coming back to work after becoming parents, job searching, or figuring out how to make their work sustainable while scaling their company. Or wanting to move countries. Sharing a space with people with different stories who all were at a shared moment was so powerful. Nobody’s path looked the same, and everyone left feeling a lot less alone.

- Community wisdom is the new currency.
Intentionally, there was no single „expert.“ When you bring the right people together, someone is always a few steps ahead of you on the exact thing you’re stuck on. This collective intelligence is what we can learn most from.

- Time away from work is an investment in our work.
For ambitious, busy people, focused in-person time doing non-work related things is such a valuable investment. Somewhere between creating natural dye bundles, immersing in nature, making pasta, or reading at the pool, you start hearing your own thoughts again. Saying them out loud to people who actually listen helps you find your language and your point of view. You go back connected to your center, and you move 10x more powerful from there.

- Bring your kids to work.
For one day, my daughter (and husband) joined us. Hosting with a little one def was a juggle, but I loved that she got to see a part of my work and how I connect with people. So much of our work happens on laptops, and our kids rarely get to see any of it.
I also invited an artist from Mexico City to come and share her story, and she brought her daughter too. While a room full of women listened to her mom, she curled up on her lap, BEAMING with pride ✨ Kids learn so much from watching us do what we love, and that afternoon she saw her mom as a role model in a whole new light.

Thank you to all the 10 wonderful women who came and brought all of themselves 🧡

Starting again after a year of pause is never just about returning to work: it is about recognizing your own hands again.

For those who are mothers and chefs, time changes shape.
It shrinks, expands, sometimes disappears altogether.
And with it, even that ancient and essential gesture begins to fade: cooking, experimenting, foraging, fermenting.

When you are breastfeeding, hunger is not only physical.
It becomes something deeper — a hunger that asks for presence, silence, roots.

And then, slowly, something begins to move again.

Since April, my kitchen has awakened.
Not all at once, but like seasons do when they decide the moment has come.

I began again through encounters, collaborations, gentle invitations.
And little by little, my plant-based cuisine found its voice again —that inner place where the heart can finally breathe.

Today, I light the fires.

And it is not just work.

It is return.
It is form taking shape once more.
It is substance finding its place again.

I feel full, yes.
But above all, I feel present.

With the sweet, real weight of a pause that did not take away, but taught.

Thank you for waiting for my time.

I begin again.

* 1 batata arancione grande
* 1 sedano rapa medio
* 1/2 bicchiere di vino rosso amabile dei Colli
* 4-5 bacche di ginepro
* Tarassaco tenero
* Olio EVO
* 2 foglie di alloro
* Sale, pepe bianco e un cucchiaino di zucchero
* Salsa senapata alla cipolla rossa q.b.

Procedimento:

When you think of a cake, your mind immediately drifts to happy moments, celebrations, Sundays, the scent of the oven, and breakfast at a pastry shop.
Together with @chef_francesca , we worked to transform this “monument to happiness” into an “edible landscape.”
The sponge cake base, covered in mascarpone cream, becomes a stage for vegetables and flowers—both edible and decorative.

What a delight it is to step into Ca Storta @ca.storta —the home, workshop, kitchen, and creative space of @chef_francesca and her husband Tommaso—with a hot cup of coffee in hand, on a day that’s just beginning to hint at spring.
The loaf of homemade dark bread takes center stage: Francesca slices it and thinks about flavor pairings (butter, jams, seeds, herbs) while I select and arrange seasonal flowers picked from my garden to decorate them.
Edible flowers and herbs mingle with dishes where the flower serves only as a garnish.
A small project where food and flowers intertwine.

But this is just the beginning of something special❤️

——————————

A big pot filled with boiling water.
My hands pouring coarse salt into it.
I’m about to throw in the pasta. Pasta for many people.

It’s my style: cooking for a crowd, saying "dinner’s ready!!!" so everyone sits down, arriving at the table with the big pot and serving each person.

It’s also my style to create community: being together, filling bellies with something delicious, prepared with care, respect, and attention to every detail.
Did you miss me?

Then come this Saturday to @caracololjackson to taste one of my dishes sipping some crazy tasty wine of @osti.www and enjoy some good music by @__bravers .

The kitchen will be open from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

See you there ;)

My soulmate asked me:"What's happiness for you?"

"For me, happiness is the sound of our daughter's laughter. And for you?What's happiness?" I asked.
"Being in the right place with the right person" he said.

That's our right place with a bit of summer, embracing my new role as a Woman, Mother, still a Chef who loves foraging and an essential Human Being living in a perfect trio.

(I didn't expect something so magical).

Recharging before October, a new chapter of work begins in one of my favorite retreat place @yogaitalia_angelidimontefiore .
