Planning Volume 6 has us a little in our feelings about how far we’ve come.

So before we gather around the table again this Saturday, we had to take a look back at Volume 5.

Chef Bevon. Disaronno. Hedon State. Best Buds Florals. And, of course, every single person who pulled up a chair and made the night what it was. Thank you. 🤎

Now, Volume 6 is here.

Our biggest table yet. Our fastest sellout yet. And we cannot wait for what Chef Analisse White has planned for Saturday.

Pull up a seat, gentlemen! Chef Bevon Wilcox joins the DC Supper Club: Men’s Edition on October 4.

From his father’s home-cooked meals in Delaware to sharpening his skills at Kith & Kin and Dōgon in DC, Chef Bevon’s path has been shaped by family and culture.

Today, he draws on those early influences to explore the vibrant history of the Black diaspora through food.

Together, we’re creating space for men to slow down, connect, and have honest conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

Some conversations happen differently when we gather with intention. This October, the DC Supper Club is creating two distinct experiences with that in mind.

Saturday is for her. An experience designed to honor the many roles women carry and foster sisterhood through guided dialogue centered on purpose, partnership, and self-care.

Sunday is for him. An opportunity to show up, exhale, and enjoy a memorable meal while making space for honest conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

We're bringing our beloved private event format to the public for the first time. We hope to see you there!

I’ve accomplished a lot leading up to 32. Most of my time has been dedicated to work, making it feel like it’s my “personal” life. However, I still find time to do the normal things. Vol. 5 came and went like a memory you didn't know you were making.

Every detail had a collaborator behind it. The flavors. The pours. The florals. The charm in your hand before you even sat down. The pause between courses where the room forgot it was a dinner and just became a conversation.

Chef Bevon Wilcox built each course with intention — dishes that tasted like roots, like diaspora, like a love letter written in two languages on one plate. Nostalgia. And the partners around him made sure every corner of the evening was felt.

This is The Company We Keep.
A dinner. A ritual. A reminder of who we are when we sit down together.

To end off the year, here’s a preview of a created pop up series called Sunday at Bev’s, hosted by @shanklinhall in DC. Very proud of myself w/ the turnout, grateful to the SH team for making this possible, appreciative of the folks who came out & the ones who supported. One of the greatest events that I look forward to every year is The Family Reunion, & we’re 5 Years In! Black Chefs from all around to showcase their food, their talent, their story. Many more ventures such as black owned caviar business @caviardreamofficial , to black owned knives @middletonmadeknives , to @chefkwameonwuachi cohosting a festival on over 340 acre land owned by @officialsheilajohnson. We can build our own tables & chairs & have a conference. Pulling your imagination into reality is a dream; I’d celebrate & encourage others to never give up. Can’t wait for next year!
