Lovely day for a lovely hike (3.5 mile roundtrip) along the White Cliffs of Dover to the South Foreland Lighthouse and back. Great views of the cliffs and Dover Strait - on a clear day, one can even see France across the English Channel. Meet The Gullyhounds - Jason & Anshula - co-owners of “The Gullyhound Limited”. Husband and wife partnering in life and business - integrating the food of their cultures through a Gastro Pub style menu. A passion for food across cultures, is what brought them together, across borders. They have been cooking for each other, and with each other since their very first meeting 6 years ago - experimenting with recipes, hosting supper clubs, testing ingredients through fusion - cooking up a small business model that shaped into their baby “The Gullyhound”. Starting a small business in the current economy is risky, and involves a lot of hard work, and organisational skills. Albeit if you love what you do, the strife is well worth it. The Gullyhound officially has a home on vibrant Kingsland road @thecokitchens_london in the multi-cultural neighbourhood of Dalston. The Gullyhounds moved into this commercial kitchen space in March, and will be ready for take-away / delivery shortly. We have been busy setting up, and learning new things everyday. Starting one’s own business is always challenging - certainly in food & hospitality one is put through the rigours - but we are so thankful that we get to do what we love. We are very grateful to the @thecokitchens_london team for welcoming us warmly, and for supporting us wonderfully as we traverse this exciting journey. We are working in the company of amazing people running their own brands in our accompanying kitchens, and they are a constant source of inspiration. We look forward to cooking up a storm, and hope people will love our food as much as we do. We would also like to thank @ouiaresocial for helping us design and market our brand.
