The gang got to reunite @modernelectriclunch this past August. It was my first time cooking in my hometown of Winnipeg in over 8 years. Thanks to all who popped out, we got crushed!! I love this city so much, GO JETS!

We’re already hosting a damn pop-up and we’ve only been open for 2 damn months! Chef Mikey has been cooking around Toronto for a minute, drawing on his Eastern European heritage. Church basement pierogis. Gramma Myrtle’s garden. Cucumbers and dill. This menu pays homage to the old country using the freshest ingredients of the season.

The Gemini opens it’s (upstairs) doors for a life-altering Wednesday, next week, August 19th. Reservations are now open on Resy! Come and celebrate a certified Slavic summer. Yeah baby. by @chefm1key

Saturday was my last service @sanasana.ca

I’m extremely grateful for this beautiful thing that I’ve been able to witness grow from its bare bones into a unique and special sanctuary.

The opportunity to introduce Eastern European cuisine to this space has been truly a blessing and I’m lucky to be walking away from this project with a heart full of memories that will last a lifetime.

BIG BIG BIG LOVE to the team, I love you all so much and I will miss each and every one of you greatly. Thank you to all the beautiful people that popped in for a bite, I love you too.

Lots of hard work and a shit ton of lessons learned, I’m so grateful for my time at this place. If you haven’t had the chance to pop in yet, I highly suggest it. I know the kitchen is in good hands 🥹
