We are incredibly grateful to all the team members, past and present, that make Michael’s Genuine special. Thank you @michelinguide for recognizing Michael’s Genuine for the fifth year in a row as a Bib Gourmand restaurant. It’s exactly where we want to be and exactly what I envisioned it to be nearly 20 years ago. We had some fun last night. Celebrated the win, congratulated some friends and enjoyed the moment. A look back at last night’s In Session: Japan 🇯🇵 Two sold-out seatings and a menu Chef Michael was SO excited to create and execute! Fun fact: many moons ago Michael had a little sushi spot in South Beach! He’s spent time in Japan and has always loved the food. Honestly, who doesn’t? 👀 The dinner was SO good and the pairings were incredible. Thank you to our Beverage Director Amanda Fraga + Lead Bartender Jennifer Murphy for making those happen, our amazing team for embracing this series and our guests for being part of it ❤️ Special shoutout to the amazing @marita216 for joining two of the four… potentially a third? 😉 A few tickets left for our final dinner, Mexico on October 29 🇲🇽 Stay tuned for the official menu + pairings this week! A look back at last week’s In Session: India 🇮🇳 Chef Michael Schwartz’s interpretation of curry across seven courses at the Chef’s Table. We love how intimate these dinners are. With only 10 guests per seating everyone gets such an up close view of Michael cooking and talking through the menu. Every recipe is created and tested by Michael at home for weeks before it ever makes it to the dinner. Truly a team effort with our amazing Beverage Director + Som Amanda Faga, Lead Bartender Jen Murphy and our Genuine culinary team who are always excited to have Michael back in the kitchen. We just wrapped an INCREDIBLE India dinner last night with seven interpretations of curry and Chef Michael’s take on Indian food, and we are already SO excited for the next one. On October 6, @chefmschwartz is back at the Chef’s Table for Japan with seven courses and a welcome drink + beverage pairings by Amanda Fraga @quepasamanda, ALL included. There are only 10 seats per seating at 6pm and 8:30pm, so do not wait on this one! Please note this is a set menu and we’re unable to accommodate substitutions or modifications.

What an outstanding dining experience we had a @cotoa.rest! Just really clicking on all cylinders. Warm hospitality. Great anticipation of all our needs. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great little vibe and decor. And the food… It was exquisite! Exciting and unexpected. Perfectly executed. Great attention to detail and really friggin tasty. It’s as if we were transported away from Miami! Can’t believe it took me this long to go. Really looking forward to their new and slightly bigger home. And will be returning again very soon.
