Happy Birthday to my firstborn, my baby girl! 🎉🎂❤️

I can’t believe we’re celebrating 29 years around the sun It feels like yesterday I was a 16-year-old girl holding you in my arms. I didn’t have all the answers, but one thing I knew for sure was that I couldn’t fail you. From that moment on, you became my greatest reason to keep pushing, growing, and believing.

Watching the woman you’ve become has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I pray this new year brings you everything your heart desires—love, peace, good health, joy, success, and every blessing God has in store for you—because you truly deserve it all.

You are resilient, strong, intelligent, hilarious, and yes… a little grumpy sometimes. 😂 But that’s all part of what makes you uniquely “you”, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Keep shining your light, keep chasing your dreams, and never forget how deeply you are loved. I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader.

Let me introduce myself… ✨
It took me a while to get here, but I finally arrived. 🙏❤️

I’m learning that boundaries are not selfish, peace doesn’t require an explanation, and loving people doesn’t mean overextending myself.

I’m learning to stay in my lane, stop carrying what doesn’t belong to me, and allow people the space to learn their own lessons without trying to save them from every experience.

I’ve spent so much of my life showing up for others. This season, I’m learning to show up for myself just as intentionally.

I’m no longer forcing, fixing, chasing, or overstepping. I’m simply allowing life to unfold while protecting the peace I’ve worked so hard to find.

Same heart, different boundaries. Same love, greater wisdom.

Last night turned into an impromptu Wellness Wednesday with some beautiful humans. My soul needed it more than I realized. ❤️

I’ve been in a season of transition a new space, a new life, and a new version of me. After living with my siblings and then my children, this is the first time I’m standing on my own and focusing on myself. I love the peace of my space, but somewhere between working and coming home, I’d slipped into isolation.

Last night reminded me how good it feels to be surrounded by beautiful reflections of love. Celebrating the eve of Agape’s birthday made it even sweeter.

Happy 22nd Birthday to my beautiful baby girl, Kiniya! 🎂💕✨

Today is a celebration of YOU! I know this birthday carries a different kind of emotion because it’s your first one without your dad here physically. I know without a doubt he’s smiling down from Heaven saying, “That’s my baby girl!” 🕊️❤️

Watching the young woman you’ve become makes me so proud. You’re smart, beautiful, funny, independent, and definitely NO NONSENSE 😂🙌🏽 — and I wouldn’t change a thing about you!

Life has a way of reminding us just how precious time, love, and family really are. Having you back in my life is one of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for, and I cherish every moment we have together. ❤️

No matter how old you get, you will ALWAYS be my baby girl. I’ll always root for you, pray for you, protect you, encourage you, and be right there whenever you need me.

Here’s to living. 🥂✨

Yesterday, I went on a much-needed dinner date with one of my friends for some long-overdue girl time. We ate, we drank, we laughed, and we looked cute while doing it. 😆💕

Life can get so busy that we forget to pour into ourselves. Getting dressed up, stepping away from the daily grind, and simply enjoying the moment felt so good.

Here’s your reminder to show up for yourself. Make the plans. Wear the outfit. Take the pictures. Laugh until your cheeks hurt. Life is meant to be lived, not just survived.

Some of you may hear me joke about being a “retired parent,” We all know that motherhood never truly ends. 💙

I had the privilege of stepping back into my mommy role while my daughter stepped into motherhood for the very first time. We both had a purpose in that delivery room.

My purpose was to nurture her, support her, encourage her, and speak life into her when she needed it most. To remind her that she could do it. To remind her how strong, capable, and beautiful she was.

Her purpose was even greater—she was bringing life into this world.

With every contraction, her strength was tested. Labor has a way of pushing you beyond limits you never knew you could handle. In those moments, when the pain feels overwhelming and you can’t see the finish line, you discover just how powerful you really are.

Watching my daughter persevere through one of the most challenging and transformative moments of her life filled me with so much pride. Through it all, we got to share this experience together. Even more special, she had her two sisters by her side as she welcomed my grandson into the world.

What a beautiful full-circle moment—to watch my daughter become a mother while surrounded by the love of her family. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, pride, and joy.
