Italy in the Countryside: five Italian-inspired courses at @carriagehousepei with @chefrossmunro and the @ada.culinarystudio team.

This venue is special to me. Emily and I had our wedding here which was the first one ever held at the Carriage House. Coming back to cook a unique new dinner in the same place, just minutes passed my family farm, was amazing!

On May 23rd we are packing up and heading to New London for this fun new Italy in the Countryside event.

Guest chef @chefrossmunro is teaming up with us and each course will be explained in detail. We will be sure to highlight some of the special Italian ingredients brought in for this menu!

May 23rd at New London Carriage House will be the first ever Italy in the Countryside event and we are so excited!

Our team is joining @chefrossmunro for this collaborative Italian themed night at one of our favorite venues in Prince Edward Island.

This menu features authentic Italian ingredients and techniques along with some amazing PEI products.

Each course will be introduced and stories will be shared throughout the night. There will also be a full service bar available.

We are thrilled to welcome Chef Ross Munro to our kitchen at Ada for this unique Italian menu that he has carefully prepared.

Chef Ross has a wealth of experience and his understanding and appreciation for good food is admirable. Having been at the helm of many kitchens in his career, he is passionate about sharing food and stories with others.

Last week we had the great pleasure of being escorted around for a few hours in Rome by Maurizio from @parlatours by @katieparla He was so amicable, easy-going and so very knowledgeable about the area and the food in the area we were in; Trionfale and Prati. We had such a great time at local restaurants and at @mercatotrionfaleroma We can't thank Maurizio enough for his time and knowledge. Made our trip to Rome that much better. Grazie! @suellenclow @adairamunro by @chefrossmunro

Love a lot about the US and plenty of friends there, but...it's time for Canada first! It's not about being anti any THING, but certainly anti Trump and his unchecked aggressions. Buy Canda First, but hyper local and support each other through this utter nonsense! by @chefrossmunro

From our home to yours, we send our best wishes for a Merry Christmas to all. We've been lucky each year to be with family and friends and celebrate being together more than anything. We are so fortunate when many are not. Each year, we pass along what we can to those not in similar circumstances to ourselves. We urge others to do the same, not just at Christmas but throughout the year. We are only community, together. I would like to send a special wish to @magicpony180 and her group that do such much good in communities across the island. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of this group for a few years now, and honestly, there is something very special about seeing such grass roots people come together to aid many in need.
