An evening where Indonesia met Pune, one plate at a time. 🇮🇩❤️🇮🇳

In association with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, we had the privilege of hosting a truly special Indonesian Chef’s Table at Malaka Spice.

Chef Tius from Indonesia and the Malaka Culinary Team came together to create a menu that celebrated tradition, creativity, and the shared language of food. Every course brought with it stories, conversations, and flavours that made the evening unforgettable.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for being a part of this beautiful culinary journey. Here’s to many more tables that bring cultures, people, and memories together.

From Indonesia to India 🇮🇩✨🇮🇳
Last January, I had the honor of representing Indonesia at an international Chef Congress in India, and Indian Culture & Culinary Program , alongside more than 60 extraordinary chefs from over 20 countries around the world.
More than just a culinary gathering, this journey became a beautiful reminder that food has the power to connect cultures, create friendships, and tell stories beyond language.
It was truly a proud and humbling experience to meet so many inspiring chefs from different parts of the world, each bringing their own culture, creativity, and culinary philosophy to the table.
I also felt deeply honored to meet the President of the WorldChefs Association, Chef Andy Cuthbert @cuthberta ✨, and to learn more about the richness of Indian cuisine from the legendary Grand Master Chef Manjit Gill. Their wisdom, passion, and dedication to the culinary world were incredibly inspiring.
Standing among world-class chefs, exchanging ideas, techniques, and passion, made me even more proud to carry the spirit of Indonesian cuisine onto the global stage.
