‼️UPDATE: HB 737 aka “ @treys_law ” (named after a fellow victim who took his life after feeling like he could never work through his childhood abuse because of the NDA his abusers had him under) PASSED 32 to 1 🎉🎉🎉🎉

“If you’re going to be raped, don’t be raped in Missouri” -Elizabeth Carlock Phillips

“Missouri is a sanctuary state for pedophiles” -Missouri Senator Brad Hudson

The show me state is behind the times when it comes to the laws that protect childhood sexual abuse victims - even behind their sister state, Arkansas. Beyond proud of Keith and the other survivors who bravely shared their stories. Light is the only thing that can drive out darkness and changing the laws that protect abusers and their institutions is the only way to truly protect victims.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” -Edmond Burke
