There are certain times where my ADHD flares in such epic and beautiful ways. I’ve been a collector of hobbies my whole life. Self taught in everything. I got my sewing machine on my 14th birthday. My camera when 18. This adorable fabric I’ve had stashed away for a random amount of years. The lace, was stripped off a backdrop, from my sister’s baby shower, 11 years ago. I knew I’d find ways to use these things, and look at how cute it turned out! (Ps. I made it an hour before our shoot, and I’ve never made one before 🙃).

Hi, I’m Chelsea! And these are my family pictures! I’m the one in the dress, the one married to the hunk, the one who gets to mother these three adorable humans and the one who loves taking pictures.

If you’re new here, I thought it was probably time I showed my face and properly introduced myself.

I’m your Northern Michigan photographer who spends parts of my day behind the camera photographing, or at the computer editing, your beautiful faces. I specialize in families, high school seniors, and small business branding photography. And honestly, as a mom, I don’t think I could have dreamt up a better job.

When I’m not working, you can find me with my kids, at playgroup, the library or running errands. But honestly, if it’s during the summer- we’ll be at the beach with family, taking walks to @hortonbaygeneralstore1876 for candy sticks and coffee, and during the winter we get our wiggles out at @avalanche.bay water park. In my evenings you will find me reading a good book, watching a show with the Hubs, hanging with my girls at book club or getting serious about our puzzle competitions at @brandysharbortown.

*Weph* life moves pretty fast.

And maybe that’s why I love photography so much.

I get to freeze a little piece of your people, exactly as they are right now.

Our sand dune day needed its own spotlight. It was the perfect day, running the dunes, hunting for Petoskey stones, playing water balloon baseball. The water was so warm and calm, and we had the beach to ourselves! Long live summer! 🏖️ taken in Charlevoix, Michigan by @chelswindle

For pickle loving Leland, turning 5 is a BIG DILL! 🥒 And we were so happy to make it as big as possible for your birthday! Started with Mickey waffles in the morning, a picnic lunch at the sand dunes and back to the cottage for your favorite- pickle pizza! Leland, you are as zesty as the pickles you love. You are fun, and goofy, and your heart is so huge. You love your friends, but also aim to make everyone feel special. You have so much joy it’s contagious. We’ve loved watching you grow this year, you’ve changed from little to big right before our eyes. 🍔❤️FIVE GUYS🤍🍟 This past week on Windle Vacation, we celebrated our guys turning five! The big kids spent the (very dangerously smokey) day being spoiled by Gma and Grandpa, going on adventures around Grayling and Gaylord, getting donuts, and then to see Toy Story 5. They came back to the house close to dinner time to find it decorated with all things @fiveguys. We filled up our bellies with burger and fries (because, duh!). And ended the evening with presents, matching pjs and ice cream! It was so fun to celebrate these boys!

I wish I could take credit for this adorable theme, but all creative praise goes to my sister in law @karen.leanne.clark
