There are certain times where my ADHD flares in such epic and beautiful ways. I’ve been a collector of hobbies my whole life. Self taught in everything. I got my sewing machine on my 14th birthday. My camera when 18. This adorable fabric I’ve had stashed away for a random amount of years. The lace, was stripped off a backdrop, from my sister’s baby shower, 11 years ago. I knew I’d find ways to use these things, and look at how cute it turned out! (Ps. I made it an hour before our shoot, and I’ve never made one before 🙃).

Also, don’t look behind the couch. I put my sewing stuff there, and I’ve lost motivation to clean it up… 🤫

Hi, I’m Chelsea! And these are my family pictures! I’m the one in the dress, the one married to the hunk, the one who gets to mother these three adorable humans and the one who loves taking pictures.

If you’re new here, I thought it was probably time I showed my face and properly introduced myself.

I’m your Northern Michigan photographer who spends parts of my day behind the camera photographing, or at the computer editing, your beautiful faces. I specialize in families, high school seniors, and small business branding photography. And honestly, as a mom, I don’t think I could have dreamt up a better job.

When I’m not working, you can find me with my kids, at playgroup, the library or running errands. But honestly, if it’s during the summer- we’ll be at the beach with family, taking walks to @hortonbaygeneralstore1876 for candy sticks and coffee, and during the winter we get our wiggles out at @avalanche.bay water park. In my evenings you will find me reading a good book, watching a show with the Hubs, hanging with my girls at book club or getting serious about our puzzle competitions at @brandysharbortown.

*Weph* life moves pretty fast.

And maybe that’s why I love photography so much.

I get to freeze a little piece of your people, exactly as they are right now.

Being in sales is difficult, especially when you have to sell yourself, insecurity creeps in so easily. When someone doesn’t book you. When you get ghosted. When you’re told your prices are too high, or your editing is not the style they want. The social media “likes” are minimal. The doubt of “am I good enough” whispers in your ear…

Thank god for growth! I am so blessed these beautiful humans took a chance on me 15 years ago as seniors, and have stuck with me since! Their pictures get better and better every year! I love making magic and capturing moments! ✨📷💫

Celebrated our sweet ONE year old again yesterday with the Windle side 🍀🩵 always so fun to get together with family!
Thank you for loving on our sweet boy! He really is a lucky one with all the loving family and friends he has!

Had a super nice time visiting Matt and Chelsea for the weekend up north 🩵 Ollie got all the cousin love and got to experience up north in the fall 😍 the colors up here this weekend were beautiful!

SEVEN MONTHS

These pictures are getting a little harder to take now 🤪

This month flew by and was filled with lots of family time. We visited the Pittsburgh cousins and dada ran a race in downtown Pittsburgh with uncle Brian and aunt Leah. Then the up north cousins were down for a weekend and got to show them my new trick - rolling to my belly.
We visited Fasa at work again and spent sometime hanging at fasa and Mimi’s while dads at work.
Took some family pictures and with the weather finally cooling off we’ve been on lots of walks!
