Happy 18th Birthday Reesie Roo! 🎉 This chapter felt like a lifetime away and then it went so fast 🥹 I’m so proud of the person you’ve become.
You are unapologetically yourself. You know your worth, you protect your peace, and you have a strength and resilience that continues to amaze me. Life has already asked a lot of you and somehow you continue to meet every challenge with courage, grace, and determination.
While a part of me wishes I could freeze time, a much bigger part of me is so excited to watch you build a life that’s authentically yours.
Never lose the sassy, donut and beach loving firecracker who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself, and to chase what sets her soul on fire.

I’m a bit late posting because events just keep coming! From Reese’s grad party last weekend to her last dance recital this coming weekend (her 15th recital and our 25th at FNDA!) and then summer nationals competition the next, my heart (nor my nerves) can’t take it. I’m slightly scattered and feeling displaced through it all. It’s the finality of this milestone and a culmination of it all at once that is trying to take me down. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Reese, to those who came to show us you support us, to those who are like our family and to those who gave their valuable time to help me make it all happen. This weekend marks a milestone for me and my dancer. It’s her 15th year at the studio, in our 15th annual Vibe showcase for her senior year!! I am not well. I don’t have many words at the moment as I’m up to my ears in rhinestones and costume pieces and comp music playing in my dreams, but just know this welcome speech will do me in. I’m so proud of Reese and her team. And aside from my own daughter, these other 7 seniors are like my own. They’ve been in my life doing this thing right along side us. @fndaelite I love you all more than know. Let’s soak it all in because it’s going to go fast.
If anyone wants to come support us this weekend let me know! I have some tickets available!

Our dancing queen is 17! It really doesn’t seem possible and oh how I hope this next year goes so very slow. Christmas in NYC was magical✨🎄✨…and very cold! We did all the things! The Christmas Spectacular at Radio City, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, shopping in Soho, Hell’s Kitchen on Broadway, Serendipity, Central Park, Bryant Park holiday market, to Brooklyn for the Dyker Heights Christmas lights, a Cocoa and Carols Christmas cruise on the Hudson, 5th Avenue, Herald Square, Papillon restaurant and so much more. I’m so grateful to have spent this time with my whole world. ❤️ by @chepozz
