Enjoying the clear valve covers from Clear Vue Concepts giving us an awesome view of our Trunnion Kit and other valve train components! 😍 Engine building is fun, but testing the engine? That’s a blast! 🤩

Important note: We had JUST started it after installing the clear covers and a new oil filter. Also, the oil is splashing up against the rocker girdle, which is why almost no oil can be seen. 🫡

There’s a pretty good chance somebody watching this has @cheprecision parts inside their sprint car engine and doesn’t even know it. 👀

That’s what makes the valvetrain side of these engines so interesting. Everybody talks horsepower, compression, heads, but some of the smallest pieces inside the cylinder head are doing an unbelievable amount of work every single lap. 🤝

CHE Precision has spent decades building pieces like valve guides, valve seats, retainers, locks and lifter-bore bushings for high-RPM racing engines, including components being used throughout the 410 sprint car engine world.

So now I’m curious…
