GMC YUKON DENALI JOB

Due to ever so common hydraulic lifter failure we had to take care of business on this LT based L86 gen v 6.2 L with @briantooleyracing stage 1 cam package/ DOD delete and @cheprecision rocker trunnion kit.

Given this was rectification/ repair work the target was NOT horsepower, nor was this combined with any other performance upgrades.
This being the case we were surprised and very pleased with the result. 📈

Cam selected was a conservative stage 1 grind , vehicle itself is 💯% standard including factory intake and exhaust..

Drivability is outstanding with only a hint of performance cam shaft at idle. ✅

Performance is much stronger across entire range ramping up nicely in mid range and extending ✅

If you are in the market for cam package/ DOD delete or hydraulic lifer rectification on your LT based engine we can certainly assist.

Please don’t hesitate to contact via DM.

THE GOATEE 🐐 | BUSINESS IN THE BACK. PARTY IN THE FRONT.

The success of our engine program has officially converted a die-hard conventional small-block Chevy guy over to the LS world!

This boost-ready 427 LS is headed out the door to our friend @waksman.classicperformance, and it’s built to take everything the drag-and-drive world can throw at it!
This project has officially been dubbed “The Goatee.”

We’ve all heard the mullet described as business in the front, party in the back. Well, this Catfish Camaro is flipping the script. Business in the back, party in the front! And with what’s coming, there’s going to be plenty of partying.

To complete the package, we spec’d out a pair of @forcedperformance 6875 turbos and a bolt-together converter from @circledspecialties. A combination that’s ready to put all 427 cubic inches to work!

Underneath it all is a purpose-built 427 LS engineered to take a beating and keep coming back for more.

Here’s what went into this one:

🔧 Pistons 👉 @cpcarrillo_
🔧 Connecting rods 👉 @callies_performance
🔧 Crankshaft & block 👉 @dartmachinery
🔧 Fasteners 👉 @arpbolts
🔧 Camshaft, rockers & intake 👉 @briantooleyracing & @cheprecision
🔧 Balancer 👉 @atiracing
🔧 Cylinder heads 👉 Our 11-degree heads, finished by @hoopersheads
🔧 Valve springs 👉 @pacracingsprings
🔧 Valve covers 👉 @motionraceworks

We can’t wait to see The Goatee hit the streets and make some passes. This one should be a riot!

Next is @greenlighttuning on the keys to make some serious power.

Battle proven. Ready for war. 🇺🇸
