Creative Director/ Choreographer Showreel.
This one’s flashy! 🤣
it’s always hard to condense the scale of one’s work in such a short reel, so this one highlights a bit of the old and a lot of the new and the roles I had within each. The real meat and potatoes of my career has been in large scale productions and theater. I love story. I love human beings. I love telling story through movement. I love the pressure of a large scale production and the intense collaboration necessary when teams are brought together. I love wearing different hats. I feel very fortunate to have followed a non-linear path in this industry, and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon 😉.

Emerging Professionals Choreo Reel 🕺💃 ❤️
In addition to the various facets that make me a creator, education is an integral part of who I am. I genuinely feel so much joy in inspiring the next generation of artists. It feels good to give back ;) Returning to the studio feels like coming home, where I see so much of myself in these young dancers. Collaborating with them, pushing them outside of their comfort zones, listening and sharing with them is so important. I’m dedicated to helping them realize that there is no such thing as a linear path in this industry.

welcome to ARABOP. 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
Casablanca is out now on YouTube, and with it begins a whole new era of music for me… where pop meets Moroccan/Middle Eastern melodies, culture, and storytelling. Huge thank you to @revomusicapp for making this video possible, to my dancers, Tejas, and our talented videographer. @ely_vogt @francesca.byrne @lillianabingen @a.fariaz @tikimongo @photosbyriles Choreography: @chericebarton @yasvocals

This project holds such a special place in my heart, and I truly hope this sound finds its audience. If you’re into pop music, dance, and global sounds, I hope you’ll join me on this journey. ✨🩷 #losangeles #popartist #morocco #ARABOP #casablanca taken in Los Angeles, California by @chericebarton

Contemporary Ballet Reel ❤️
As many of you know, my curiosity has led me down various paths—from theater to Cirque, television, and education—but my roots are firmly planted in ballet. ❤️
I feel incredibly fortunate to have returned to these roots over the past couple of years, exploring my choreographic voice while feeling, in a sense, back home.
Featuring the beautiful dancers of @vitaccaballet, @aviddancecompany, @aspensantafeballet, and @ncidance.
Original music by @annemariekeanemusic.

I am incredibly proud of the show I produced and directed at the iconic venue of the #ComedyStore in West Hollywood. What an honor it was to bring this vision to life! Nothing beats artistry and hilarity delivered by seasoned pros in an intimate vibe. Sorting through these images reminds me why I do what I do, and I can’t wait to do it again.

Featuring the incredible artistry of esteemed celebrity hosts @johnrossbowie and @jamiedenbo , Bring the Funny finalists @lewberger , the beautiful dancers of @pacecommercialdance , Cirque clown/concepteur @dpasser , badass comedian, activist, and author @sundeepmorrison , brilliant artist @elliottmorgan, fellow parent and hilarious comedian @mattgallagherstories, and LGBTQ comedian and producer @ginger_drew.

I have so many images from this evening, and it was hard for me to sort through them all, but here are a few to capture some of the magic of that night! 😉

Special credit to my beloved associate and choreographer, @maddenmoves ❤️❤️❤️—love collaborating with you, always! Big thanks to Andrea Remanda @andrearemanda and our brilliant musical director, @deron.johnson , for their amazing contributions!

Can’t wait to bring this energy back to life! ✨

A huge thank you to @cherylmannphoto for capturing so many moments from that memorable evening.

SWIPE.
Was so fulfilling to create this work based off of, yes, DATING APPS… & all of the darkness and hilarity within. Thank you @vitaccaballet @kavitacca @ncidance for your trust and thank you to ALL the dancers who helped contribute to this beautiful and weird work for your love and willingness to take this risk with me! Forever great memories ❤️🙏🏼
