I’m the new Resident Director on the Tina Turner musical on Broadway! The hommie @zhailon put me on🖤 And here we are, telling black stories. And telling a black women’s story at that. I’m putting my hand on my heart, taking a big inhale and giving thanks #broadway #blackstories #tinathemusical #theatre #southafricanwomen by @chesrayblue

On the latest episode of Diaspora Whores, our guest @chesrayblue chats about her experience growing up in the Cape Flat(lands) and how community helped her survive and thrive 🩷

"From Small Stages To Broadway!"

Our Founder, Chesray Dolpha, was recently interviewed by Stephanie Pekeur for Kuier Magazine - a nationally distributed Afrikaans language media stalwart in South Africa - about her passion for community theatre, the women in her life who made sure she made her mark on in New York and on Broadway, and much more...

Huge thanks to @stephs_playground & @claytonmorar_media for the coverage.
