A quick chat with Caroline from the chest and Heart clinic. If you are 25 and over get yourself to the clinic have a screen and get put into their rolling screening programme. They can help if they find any problems.
Caroline has since decided that all future interviews must take place in the sea. #swimspiration #reflectionsfromthesea #chattomeinthesea #chestandheart #wellbeing by @chestandheart

We have a chat with Tristan. In the sea. In a suit. About his heart attack and what not to do when you have chest pain. #swimspiration #wellbeing #seaswimming #reflectionsfromthesea #chattomeinthesea by @chestandheart

Talk about a swimspirational story!
Tristan was only 42 when he had his heart attack that required an airlift to Southampton General, triple bypass surgery and 10 days of recovery completely on his own because it was during COVID. 6 years ago.
Tristan was always a sporty guy, played rugby, swam year round in the sea and this came completely out of the blue.
In the next video you will see how he completely ignored his symptoms.
The @chestandheart clinic do an amazing job screening people to detect any possible heart issues and Caroline from chest and heart will tell you more about that in another video in a minute! You can donate to the chest and heart clinic on the swim all seasons page #swimspiration #wellbeing #seaswimming #reflectionsfromthesea #chattomeinthesea by @chestandheart
