What a way to end the season 🤯🤩 by @chesutts

It’s been a little while since my last post and, as you can see, it’s because I’ve been a bit busy with all of these tournaments. While I wanted to focus more on what I was learning, rather than posting, I made sure to capture as many memories as I could to be able to share my amazing experiences and lessons later on.

My goal for the 2026 season was to learn how to be on “tour” - so I made my own tour! I went to almost every single A-Tier in Canada and my first PDGA major, from Kamloops, BC to Dieppe, NB, down to Salt Lake City, Utah, up to Grand Prairie, AB. I padded the weekends in between with B and C tiers to create a schedule as jam packed as the actual pro-tour is. It was a big undertaking, definitely a challenge, but so completely worth it 🙌🏼

Now the season is coming to an end and I finally have some free time. After my final tournament - BC Provincials, Oct.2-4 - I will be posting about each tourney individually, probably a couple posts for some tourneys, sharing what the experience was like, thanking the people that make these events happen, the lessons I learned, and how it helped in later tournaments.

Most of you I’ve seen in person throughout the season - thank you for making it such a memorable year and for all the support and encouragement you’ve given me week after week ❤️ it’s meant the world 🥰 by @chesutts

Photo dump of the rest of Spring Run Off ✨

Was a very cold second round and a much calmer, warmer last round. Thankfully I was able to figure out what was going wrong with my putt and make a few smarter decisions as we continued to play 🙌🏼 hilariously, I had a 112 point range between my first round (799) and my final round (911)! Now to just get consistent to always be like that final round 😝

Thank you to everyone that helped put on this event, to those of you that got up extra early to watch us play a few holes before your rounds, and, of course, thank you to my card mates for always having fun with me out there and being my paparazzi 🥰 (@amber.discgolf.13 @johendersondiscgolf @hyzerbombhong ) Was a great weekend and hopefully the last cold one of the season 🤞🏼

First round of Spring Run Off is in the books …. For better or for worse 🫣

There was some very high winds which made for some very high scores (mainly from me 💁🏻‍♀️) but as always, it was a very fun time with my FPO ladies ❤️
Thanks @johendersondiscgolf @amber.discgolf.13 @hyzerbombhong for keeping the laughs going and helping keep my spirits up! Fingers crossed we don’t freeze to death tomorrow

First tourney is in the books! Was a gorgeous day yesterday for the always incredible @shesupfirst tournament and a very historic event as well as it was the LARGEST women’s event EVER in Canadian history! 80 women from FJ10 to FA65, from BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, all congregated in Edmonton to celebrate eachother and have fun 🥳
You can hear in my videos just how supportive everyone is and it’s such a big reason I love this sport.

I got to play my first round with my mom (big thank you to @kristinswirles for arranging that) and saw the start of an incredible battle she had to take home the win in FA60, so proud 🥰 I myself came 7th after a less then stellar second round but did well enough in round one to have my event rating be only 1point below the rating I finished last year with, so definitely a decent start to the season!

So many thank you’s to everyone that made this event happen, all the volunteers and participants, the people that came from so far away to make history with us! Every moment was so special; from the friendship bracelets, chasing geese off the green, cracking jokes, and everything in between 🤗 I’ll never forget it taken in Hermitage Park by @chesutts

It’s not too late to register! Ladies, come and spend a couple hours with amazing women learning a new hobby or improving your game 🥏

@amber.discgolf.13 @johendersondiscgolf and I are joining forces again this year for @discgolfcalgary ‘s women’s clinic! We’ll be teaching backhand, forehand, and putting from basics to fine tuning ✨

Can’t wait to see you all there 🤗

Was proud to participate in the Earth day UDisc clean up event at Forest Lawn on Sunday with this amazing group of people 🤗

If you weren’t able to attend your local clean up event, I hope you find some time to pick up trash next time you’re out on a course ❤️ remember to always pack out what you pack in and take care of the land we call home 🌎

Day 1 of hammering in foundational form basics!

Forgot to post this the other day but it’s one I’ve been working on for a while. All good form starts from the bottom up: if the footwork is bad then the rest of your form is compensating and you’re leaking power out everywhere. Frankly it’s a miracle I was ever throwing over 300ft with my old form 😅

Hope is restored! The sun is back and we are playing 🤗
After a mediocre round at league on Thursday, it was so nice to get some good rounds in the last few days and soak up as much sun as I could. Definitely feeling more tourney ready but there’s still a lot to do.

Filming my shots revealed potential reasons why I’ve been having some form struggles recently, so I’m going back to basics. Join me over the next couple weeks as I drill in foundational form in an attempt to get tip top for the season 💪🏼

I think I speak for all Canadians when I say we are ready for Spring/Summer 🥲🤞🏼 I’m absolutely itching to get out there and play with warm hands, good footing, and nice ground play!!

Been throwing my tech disc into the net inside the house a lot this off season and happened to catch the only time I missed the target and it rebounded straight into my ribs 🫠 painful, but hilarious 😅
