2026 BC Provincial Championships in Logan Lake
🍂🍂🍂
What a fantastic weekend! Three rounds in the beautiful fall colours at Logan Lake. The courses were in great shape. Thank you to the Crush Cub TDs and @bcdiscgolf for putting on a great event!

I’m happy to say I put together three solid rounds and came out in first place. I’ll have to say *barely* since @chesutts had an incredibly hot round and put all the pressure on me. So great to witness that round 👏

Thank you to all the FPO and FP40 ladies - you gals inspire me 🥰

After 4 events in 5 weeks, I’m ready for a competitive break. There’s nothing on the schedule for the rest of the year, but who knows what will happen.

Falcons flight 17 🦅🥈

This weekend brought so many firsts: my first time making lead card, my first time playing alongside a touring pro, my first eagle (with a little help from the friendliest tree kick 😂), and my first owl sighting! 🦉

Coming into the weekend, my goal was to play consistently and keep building confidence in my game. Walking away proud of the progress I’m making and excited to keep growing.

Got to see familiar faces, meet some amazing new people, and share the course with some pretty awesome players!

A huge congratulations to @chowderthrows on the win! 🏆 It was such a pleasure getting to play alongside you and watch you do your thing.

Thank you to @jeremypowerdg for stepping in and help carry the bag, and of course, a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful people who make this tournament what it is. 🫶🏼

Tournament Capital Open was a struggle for me this year.

Round one started with a mystery irritation in my left eye that left me squinting and playing with one eye mostly closed for much of the day. Whatever it was, it still hasn't gone away, and I've spent the last several days living on eye drops. While it certainly didn't help, it also wasn't the reason I struggled. My putting was off, my approaches lacked sharpness and accuracy, and my mental game simply wasn't where it needed to be.

Looking back, I was my own biggest opponent. Every missed putt, bad kick, and mistake became another opportunity to beat myself up instead of moving forward. That's something I need to work on, both as a competitor and as a cardmate. The last time I was in Kamloops, I was in a very different chapter of life, and this weekend reminded me that while I've made a lot of progress, confidence is still something I'm rebuilding.

Despite my frustrations, the weekend had plenty of highlights (including the death putt for a birdie pictured at Rose Hill). The card vibes were fantastic, trivia night was a blast, and Team Birdies Without Borders managed to take home the win. As someone who loves trivia, it was one of the moments I had been looking forward to most, and it was even better getting to share it with my cross-border friends.

The golf may not have gone the way I wanted, but Kamloops remains a wonderful place to play. Rose Hill was my favorite course of the weekend, though the marmots at MacArthur Island nearly stole the show. Huge thanks to @discsandwine and the rest of the staff, and volunteers for putting together another fantastic event.

Sometimes the toughest tournaments teach the most. I have plenty to improve in my game, but this weekend was also a reminder to give myself a little more grace along the way.

Falcons Flight! What a weekend. My favorite disc golf weekend of the year no question. Had such an amazing time on and off the course. Didn’t quite play how I wanted to, but still had an amazing time regardless and was able to sneak into cash.

From glow doubles to pool in the dark to campfire laughs, I had such a great time. I’m sad the season is wrapping up, but looking forward to the rest that comes with the off season. I want to thank @wildman_discgolf for the support through the season, thanks for believing in me. Overall I feel great about my season, was able to podium at every tournament besides this one and even took home two B tier wins.

I also want to thank all the ladies I played with this weekend and throughout the season. You make even a bad round fun. @hyzerbombhong @chesutts @f_kempf @amber.discgolf.13 thanks for the laughs and joy during our rounds.

Missing @kleediscgolf and @twich999 in FPO this year… but maybe they missed us too and will come back to us next year 🙂😘😘😉😉
-
I played two ends of two very extremes…. Worst round shot in my division for round 1&2, then brought the heat round 3 and shot the hot round of the day for FPO division! Now it’s time to go analyze and study how I can bring that third round energy into all my rounds for next season!
-
Huge thank you to my sponsors for believing in my all season even with tons of obstacles that changed and challenged me along the way🫶🏼 @yikun_discs @brdiscgolf @getleannutritionyeg @supplementworld_edmonton 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Have an amazing rest of the season everyone! See yall next year 😘 #nevergiveup

Falcons Flight 16 – 3rd Place 🥉

This event will always hold a special place in my heart. Nearly 100 volunteers (!!) came together to spot, cheer, and keep things running smoothly—it was such an incredible display of community support. @aspen_meadows_dgc

I had the privilege of competing against some of Canada’s best disc golfers (and one honorary Canadian 😉). The vibes were amazing all weekend, and I feel so grateful to have made it through all three rounds injury-free this year 🥹

I was right in the mix until the last two holes, but a couple of silly mistakes cost me some strokes, and the rest of the final round didn’t quite live up to my standards. All parts of my game felt a little bit “off”.

Oh, and to top things off, I managed to get a trailer pin stuck in my tire yesterday 🤦‍♀️. Huge thanks to my campsite crew and @camm_eng for coming to the rescue—next year Cam is staying all three rounds, no exceptions 😂.

Big congrats to @gabbyglee for taking down this prestigious A-Tier! I’ll be back next year to chase that title again 🫶

Ps. If you’re loving the green sleeveless polo or the floral polo I’m wearing they’re made by a Canadian, women owned company right here in Calgary! @bigputtsgolfapparel had me looking sharp all weekend! I have a code that gets you 15% off your first order - use code “DISCJO15” ⛳️

Shoutout to my sponsors @anotherrounddg @gripeq (code: jo10) @vessi @zucainc @discrepublic.ca (code: JO)❤️❤️
