What I asked for: A tea party with my best friends
What I got: 8 days of gifts leading up to my birthday. A surprise murder mystery themed sleepover at an Airbnb with my best friends, where they had a funeral for my 20’s. A beautiful tea party and an incredible dinner experience. Brunch with my friends and family, and a murder mystery escape room.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out here doing they THANG!! New moms, OG moms, working moms, SAHM, hybrid moms, single moms, stepmoms, adopting moms, foster moms, moms who’s children are no longer in the physical world, silky moms, crunchy moms, scrunchy moms, rand everything in between! You are seen, heard, loved, and deeply appreciated even if it doesn’t feel like it. It takes a village but in this day and age we lack the support and resources needed for parents, and many of y’all are making a way out of no way and don’t receive the flowers you so desperately deserve, so thank you for pushing through and not giving up for the sake and love of your children 🌸💕💐

Happy Nurses Week! Thankful to be able to work as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse where I am FINALLY able to say I love what I do. Nursing can be so stressful and chaotic but when you find that specialty/area of nursing that is meant for you HONEY listen you will remember why you became a nurse in the first place. It’s ok to bounce around until you find that special place that works for you, because that’s the great thing about nursing there’s endless options for what you can do in this field.

The best advice I can give soon to be mamas nervous about the birthing experience, especially as someone who had a natural birth at a birthing center instead of the hospital, is "faith over fear". by @chi.chi.tv_
