Well, I definitely needed to post at least a few of the videos that were sent in for Courtney’s 50th birthday because there was absolutely no way I was fitting the whole montage into one post. Apparently when you’re loved by this many people, everyone has something to say…From sweet messages, hilarious stories, questionable memories, and a few clips that may or may not require further explanation, every single one added something special. Honestly, watching them all together was such a great reminder of how many people Courtney has impacted over the years. It was the perfect way to celebrate the big 5-0… and prove that turning 50 just means you’ve collected more stories, more friends, and more people with embarrassing material to share!

After some great family time in Sheboygan celebrating Courtney’s 50th birthday, the celebration continued as we headed to the Dells, where I rented a house for 3 days packed with entertainment, surprises, laughs, and plenty of memories made by everyone involved! It turned into one of those weekends where there was always something going on and you never quite knew what was coming next.

As many of you know (and definitely remember 😄), there was the infamous 40th birthday surprise I pulled off for Courtney years ago. Somehow that one has managed to live on in family history and still gets brought up today. So of course there may have been a little pressure to keep the tradition alive and make this one just as memorable. Safe to say everyone showed up and played their part in making Courtney’s big 5-0 one for the books.

Celebrating 50 isn’t just about the number — it’s about the memories, the people around you, and realizing how lucky you are to have so many people willing to laugh, celebrate, and create a few more stories together!

Its been productive the last two weeks, taking a few groups out and taking friends and family out most of the time catching limits of these giant king salmon, and some coho salmon and even a few steelhead

So Skye joined the youth sailing club in Sheboygan, 1st week she’s learned a bunch of knots, how to get her boat upright after a capsize, basic skills to move about the harbor and also made it out to the lighthouse! taken in Sheboygan, Wisconsin by @chicagosurfer
