Taking our Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and giving her a little fall makeover 🎃🍪

A little pumpkin purée + pumpkin spice = the easiest Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Such a special night celebrating the launch of Lori & Maria’s Gluten-Free Table🤍🍪

Chicky Bakes had its own table for the evening, where guests got to try our cookies, learn a little more about the mixes, and even take a bag home in their goodie bags.

What made the night even more special was getting to celebrate two women we’ve known and loved for years as they launched something built around food, culture, community and bringing people together — which feels so aligned with everything Chicky Bakes is about too.

There’s something really exciting about watching a new idea come to life, and I’m so grateful Chicky Bakes got to be a small part of their first chapter.

Congratulations Lori & Maria. 🤍 So excited to see where the Gluten-Free Table goes from here! taken in Toronto Canada by @chickybakesco

Sometimes I get so caught up in everything I still want to do that I forget to look at everything I’ve already done🤎

More customers. More content. More growth. Be better. Do more. Keep going. There’s always something else on the list when you’re building a business, and I think sometimes I forget how crazy it is that I’m even able to say those words.

I started Chicky Bakes as an idea in my head, and now it’s a real business. There are products with my name on them, people buying them, events I get to show up to, orders to pack, content to make, problems to solve, and so many things I’m still figuring out as I go.

And while I’m always going to have bigger dreams for it, I never want the pressure of where I’m going to make me ungrateful for where I am.

Little me would think this is pretty freaking cool. 🥹🤍

Yesterday was officially our FIRST ever Chicky Bakes market at Gluten-Free Fest 🥹🍪🤎

I have spent so much time thinking about how I wanted our booth to look, ordering little pieces for the table, making signs, baking hundreds of samples and probably overthinking every tiny detail 😅 so getting to finally stand back and see everything together felt SO surreal.

There are definitely already things I want to change for the next one because apparently that’s just how my brain works lol, but for our very first market… I’m pretty freaking proud of this little setup.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at Gluten-Free Fest, tried a cookie, voted for their favourite, picked up a mix or even just came over to say hi. It was so special getting to introduce Chicky Bakes to so many people in person. 🤎

We don’t make the rules… but if we bake you cookies, we’re expecting a VERY enthusiastic reaction. 🍪🤎

Around here, “these are good” simply isn’t enough. We’re looking for tears, immediate requests for another batch, and maybe a little “these are the best cookies I’ve ever had.” 😂

Baking is our love language, after all🤎

A little behind the scenes of our day at Niagara 5000 🤍🍪

From packing up the car, setting up our table, sampling all day and getting to meet so many of you! Events like this are always a little chaotic, very busy, and somehow still so much fun.

One of our favourite parts of doing events will always be getting to connect with our community in person. 🤍
