I waited 24hrs to post this just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. On Monday, ChickyBoi was listed in the Good Food Guides Essential 100 Restaurants of Melbourne which is an incredible honour.

20 year old me wouldn't believe this, hell, 35 year old me wouldn't believe this.

I'm extremely grateful to everyone who has supported and helped me on the way, and the staff and suppliers now who help keep the place running smoothly.

Also, a thanks to everyone who shows up week after week and braves the line to get a sandwich.

We do a veggie version of every sandwich on the menu. It's a small kitchen so there's not a lot of separation in frying or putting the sandwich together but if you ever wanted to know what a ChickyBoi fried chicken Sando tastes like but don't eat meat. We've decided that a "ChickyBoi amount" is a new measurement for sauce, to celebrate that we're bringing back one of our sauciest specials. BuffaloBoi. Habanero buffalo sauce, blue cheese ranch, lettuce and pickles, it'll be messy, don't cut it in half and keep it in the wrapper! On until it's not.
