🇬🇧 SEMINAR IN WESTON-SUPER-MARE, ENGLAND! 🇬🇧

Always a pleasure to share the mats, knowledge, and experiences with great people!

A big thank you to my old man, @ian_rossiter_ , for opening the doors and giving me the opportunity to share some of my knowledge with his students. I truly appreciate the trust, the hospitality, and the friendship.

Jiu-Jitsu is more than techniques and belts. It’s about relationships, respect, and the people we meet along the journey.

Thank you for having me, brother!

🇪🇸 SEMINAR AT CHECKMAT MADRID! 🇪🇸

Amazing time on the mats with my brother @ansjiu and all his students!

Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome and for giving me the opportunity to share some Jiu-Jitsu with you. It’s always a pleasure to be back in Madrid, Spain, and spend time with our @checkmatmadrid family.

Jiu-Jitsu brings us together, strengthens our bonds, and reminds us that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.

Much love and respect to everyone! Until next time!

WE ARE OPEN. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.

Our CHECKMAT GULF BREEZE family, we know the hurricane has been a difficult experience for many people in our community. Some of us are dealing with damage, stress, and the challenges of getting back to normal.

Remember, you are not alone. We are more than a Jiu-Jitsu school — we are a family.

Come to the mats, train, release some stress, clear your mind, and take care of your body and mental health. Sometimes, getting back to your routine and being surrounded by good people is exactly what you need.

We are open, and we are here to support you!

Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families. Stay healthy, stay safe, and keep supporting one another.

SEE YOU ALL ON THE MAT!

Amazing weekend with our CheckMat family celebrating Professor @biejanilson ’s birthday and having an incredible seminar with our Master @leovieirabjj .

Thank you to all our students, friends, and family who came to share this special day with us. Having everyone together on and off the mats made this weekend truly unforgettable.

Amazing Brazilian BBQ, Pagode (Brazilian music), great friends, and of course, the incredible Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle we all love.

Happy Birthday, Professor!

A lot of people criticize, not just in Jiu-Jitsu, but everywhere.

People use the internet to create hate, get likes, and get attention. But sometimes, when you look deeper, you realize it’s simply a lack of maturity.

People ask me, “Why are you still CheckMat? What’s wrong? What is happening with CheckMat?”

Here is my answer:

I am CheckMat because my master is CheckMat. That’s the reason.

I’m not CheckMat for business.
I’m not CheckMat for seminars.
I’m not CheckMat because it is convenient.

I’m CheckMat because my master is CheckMat.

That’s what loyalty means to me.

We get criticized if we do something, and we get criticized if we don’t do the same thing. You simply cannot please everyone.

Even Jesus walked with 12 people and still didn’t please everyone.

So I choose to focus on what matters

We don’t need the internet to validate our loyalty.

And last, but definitely not least, I want to say THANK YOU, @leovieirabjj

You are the reason we are here.

I know you have a huge target on your back because of what you have built, what you are building, and what you will continue to build in the future.

I also know that the vast majority of people reach out to you when they have a problem or need help. But you continue to be there for people, and for that, I want to say thank you for everything.

I hope that one day my students look at me with the same respect, admiration, and pride that I have for you.

I am proud to be your student. I am proud to be CheckMat. And I am proud to still be with you today, and to continue this journey with you for many years to come.

Together We Are Stronger.
