New season, new things to eat. 🍂
Starting with one of our favorites from the fall menu.

Turn the volume up on the last slide for some cozy kitchen asmr 😋

FROM THE SEA: Rotating fish, shrimp gumbo, Carolina Gold rice, andouille + pickled okra.

Swipe to see what goes into that gumbo sauce. 👀 →

that gumbo sauce… 🤩

Crab, andouille, holy trinity, tomato + Creole spices are roasted down until everything is deeply caramelized.

From there, we build the broth, strain + reduce it, then combine it with beurre blanc for the finished sauce.

Three steps just for the sauce. Very *very* worth it taken in Chic's Laundry by @chicslaundry

Oyster Week is almost here 🦪

We’re excited to be participating in Oyster Week VA, October 1–7, celebrating Virginia oysters and everything they do for our waterways, local economy + coastal communities.

We’ll have some special oyster offerings on the menu all week long. Come eat some oysters and support a pretty damn good cause. 🦪🤍 taken in Chic's Laundry by @chicslaundry

Meet your new fall comfort food. 🍝

House-made mafaldine, parmigiano cream, toasted breadcrumbs + lemon zest. Rich, silky, a little bright, and very hard to share.

Add chicken, shrimp, salmon or filet if you’re feeling extra. taken in Chic's Laundry by @chicslaundry

Happy birthday to our Director of Operations, Kevin Dubel! 🎉

Although “Director of Operations” feels wildly insufficient for everything he actually does. He’s the glue that holds us together and also the fuel that keeps us moving forward.

He can teach it, lead it, troubleshoot it, fix it, build it, and somehow keep everyone moving in the same direction while he does it. We genuinely don’t know what we’d do without him.

Help us show @k_dubel some birthday love today! 🥂 taken in Chic's Laundry by @chicslaundry

Perfect patio weather is here!!!! ☀️ Consider this your reminder: you don’t need a reservation to come see us.

Our patio is always open for walk-ins, so even when reservations inside are booked, we still have a seat waiting for you outside.

Come hungry. We’ll take care of the rest. 🍸 taken in Chic's Laundry by @chicslaundry
