A little salt air, a little caviar, fresh oysters and a whole lot of fun! 🦪🥂✨

Tuesday evening at Supper Club at @chicslaundry was everything we love about fall in @visitvabeach!

Fresh oysters, shrimp, hearty stew, delicious cocktails, and yes, even a caviar bump! Add in live music, wonderful company, and the perfect autumn evening by the water, and you have all the ingredients for a night to remember.

There’s just something magical about gathering around good food with the coastal breeze in the air.

Cheers to nights like these! 🥂

Be sure to follow along with @chicslaundry for future Supper Clubs.

Behind the scenes at our photo shoot for Chic’s Laundry, a boutique restaurant tucked into Virginia Beach’s Chic’s Beach neighborhood. ✨

Our client’s vision put the customer experience at the heart of the design: how guests would feel, gather, and enjoy the space. That forward thinking gave Within the opportunity to create an interior as memorable as the hospitality.

We loved bringing that vision to life……and capturing it through the lens.

More to come about the design process of this little historic jewel. 🤍

First Impressions are everything. There is a saying you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and in most cases that is correct. Chic's Laundry in Chix Beach, hit every mark from the time we walked in, to the time when we got home and sat around the kitchen for round two with the meals we ordered for dinner after our early dinner the week of their Grand Opening. Yes, we ordered pizza To Go after eating a full meal there. Why? Because there was only so much table space to order everything that sounded good, so we made a to go order after dinner.

Okay I have a lot to say about Chic's Laundry...
This charming little place is the perfect blend of coastal and modern, hidden away in Chics Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here, and pictured above is:

-Bluefin Tuna Crudo* (raw)
peach aguachile, grilled peach, avocado, shaved jalapeño, basil oil, toasted sesame

-Arancini
crispy aged carnaroli risotto rice fritter, stracciatella, parmesan cheese

-Caesar
bibb & little gem with anchovy dressing, parmigiano, and sourdough breadcrumbs

-Bacon Wrapped Filet
7oz bacon wrapped filet, bourbon jus, tobacco onions, pickled guindilla pepper

-Parker House Rolls
baked to order yeast rolls, served warm with toasted nori butter (literally the best rolls ever)

Everything here was fresh, fast, and delicious. I highly recommend adding a caviar bump to the Arancini. 🤍
