🌿 Founder Feature | Chip Paul

Some conversations in health are moving faster than public understanding.

Regenerative medicine is one of them.

Stem cells. Exosomes. Cellular therapies. Emerging technologies. FDA approval versus investigational use. There is tremendous interest in this field—and just as many questions.

That’s exactly why education matters.

Truth in Health Founder Chip Paul has spent years taking complex health science and making it easier for people to understand. Today, his work through GNUMedX includes regenerative medicine education and helping connect practitioners, emerging science, and the communities they serve.

His newest article for Truth in Health takes a balanced look at the field:

📖 Regenerative Medicine: What It Is, What It Isn’t, and What Patients Should Know

It explores what regenerative medicine actually means, where stem cells and exosomes fit into the conversation, the difference between FDA-approved and investigational therapies, and—most importantly—the questions patients should know to ask.

As Chip puts it:

“Innovation deserves curiosity. Patients deserve clarity. Health decisions deserve good information.”

And the timing couldn’t be better.

This Friday, Chip will continue the conversation as part of our regenerative medicine panel with Dr. Lynch. It’s another opportunity for our community to learn, ask questions, and hear directly from people working in this evolving space.

This is what our Founder community is about—not simply putting a name on an organization, but bringing knowledge, relationships, and resources into the room that others can learn from.

Thank you, Chip, for helping build Truth in Health and continuing to push important health conversations forward.

🌿 Educate. Connect. Empower.

Headed to Positive Aging at MetroTech on Springlake today!

Cindy has me packed up with enough resources to talk nutrition, gut health, regenerative wellness, and probably a few other rabbit holes if you get me started. 😂

She normally keeps me organized at these events, but I’m flying solo today while she takes care of her back. Wish me luck. 😎

If you’re there, come find me and say hello. I’m always up for a good conversation about how the body works and what we can do to better support it.

Regenerative medicine is moving quickly. Education needs to keep up.

That’s why GnuMedX is launching Regenerative Wellness Lunch & Learns for physicians, clinics and healthcare teams.

We’re opening conversations around extracellular vesicles and exosomes from an education-first perspective:

What are they?

What does the current science actually tell us?

What should a practice understand about sourcing, processing and quality?

And where are the important boundaries between emerging research and the claims we sometimes see in the marketplace?

Our goal isn’t to walk into a practice with a sales pitch.

It’s to start with better questions.

If your practice is exploring regenerative wellness—or simply wants to understand this rapidly developing field—we’d love to bring the conversation to your team.

I keep talking about the endocannabinoid system because I think it’s one of the most important systems we were never taught about.

And here’s something a lot of people miss:

You’re feeding this system every day.

Omega-3 and omega-6 are essential fatty acids. Your body needs them, and they’re connected to the lipid signaling environment of the endocannabinoid system.

So understanding the ECS isn’t just about understanding cannabis or cannabinoids. We also need to understand nutrition, cellular membranes, signaling, and the environment we’re giving our cells to work in.

I break it down in this new Chip Talks Health.

🎥 Watch it here:

📖 I also put together a deeper educational article here:
https://www.ecseducation.academy/blog/how-nutrition-feeds-the-endocannabinoid-system-omega-3-omega-6-and-ecs-balance

And if you’re a clinician, practitioner, or someone who really wants to understand this system, that’s exactly why we built ECS Education Academy.

You’re going to start hearing me talk more about exosomes.

This isn’t a new subject for me, but it is one I’m going to start bringing into more of my public education.

When I look at exosomes, I’m interested in more than the excitement surrounding regenerative medicine.

I want people to understand the biology.

What are exosomes?

How are they involved in communication between cells?

What does the research actually tell us?

And how might the condition of the biological system matter when we’re considering an intervention?

That’s where my background in the endocannabinoid system, cellular nutrition and systems biology comes into the conversation.

We’re going to unpack a lot of this in the months ahead.

Not hype.

Biology. Research. Application.

🤔 Think About It…

If cells are constantly communicating with one another, what happens when we begin working with the messages themselves?

Stay tuned. We’re going deeper. #exosomes taken in ECSeducation.academy by @chipandcindypaul

Today I had the privilege of organizing two important conversations with Oklahoma gubernatorial candidate Mike Mazzei.

The first brought together leaders and business owners from Oklahoma’s medical cannabis industry. The second was with members of the Oklahoma Bondsmen Association. Both groups shared their experiences, challenges, and ideas for improving the systems they work in every day.

I’ve always believed that good policy begins with listening. Regardless of where someone stands politically, elected leaders should hear directly from the people who live with the consequences of those policies.

I appreciate Mike Mazzei taking the time to sit down, ask thoughtful questions, and listen to business owners, industry professionals, and community leaders without rushing the conversation.

As many of you know, I care deeply about education. Whether the topic is health, cannabis, criminal justice, or public policy, meaningful progress happens when people are willing to have respectful conversations, learn from one another, and work toward practical solutions.

Thank you to everyone who attended and shared your perspectives. I hope this is the beginning of many more conversations that put Oklahoma citizens, patients, families, and small businesses at the table.

This post reflects my personal experience organizing today’s meetings and is shared to encourage civic engagement and constructive dialogue. It is not an endorsement of any political candidate or campaign. by @chipandcindypaul

Neighborly Wellness is closing a little early today!

Chip and I are headed to an important community discussion focused on issues impacting Oklahoma. We believe it’s important to stay engaged, listen, and participate in conversations that affect the health and well-being of our state and our communities.

We’ll be back tomorrow during our regular business hours. Thank you for your understanding! by @chipandcindypaul

🧠 Everyone talks about protein…

But here’s something many people don’t realize…

Protein is nothing more than a string of amino acids.

Your body can make some amino acids on its own.

But there are nine essential amino acids that it cannot make. That means you have to get them from the foods you eat or other dietary sources.

Those nine essential amino acids are:

• Histidine
• Isoleucine
• Leucine
• Lysine
• Methionine
• Phenylalanine
• Threonine
• Tryptophan
• Valine

When people say, “Protein is essential,” what they’re really talking about is making sure your body has the amino acids it needs to continually build proteins.

Understanding how the body works changes the way we think about nutrition.

🎥 In this short clip, I explain why these nine amino acids are considered essential and why they matter from a systems biology perspective.

📖 You can watch, read, or listen to the full lesson here:
https://truemedx.com/blogs/nutrition/essential-amino-acids-and-proteins

🤔 Think About It…

If your body can’t make all nine essential amino acids, what does that tell you about the importance of the foods you choose every day?
