Fueling for a heavy squat session and fueling for a 4-hour ride shouldn’t look the same.

Different workouts rely on different energy systems, so what you eat before training, how much, and when should shift based on what you’re about to ask your body to do. Swipe through for how to fuel before endurance sessions, strength training, and functional fitness/HYROX, plus a simple timing framework based on how long you have before you start.

The best pre-workout meal is the one that matches your session, your digestion, and the foods you tolerate well. Trial-and-error is the name of the game!

35 was pretty special ✨ Watched a squishy baby turn into a toddler and watched a toddler turn into a child 😳 Visited some new cities and a couple new countries. Got to see my best friend who lives across the world not once, but twice! Hit some lifetime PRs. Continued to have a career doing what I love with people I love. And got to spend some quality time with some high quality folks. 36, you have a lot to live up to, but I’m ready for you 😏 by @chloemiz

Reaching for food when you are stressed is not a character flaw. It is a very human response to a very real feeling.

@ryannnicoleburke @atterbom_ and @chloemiz get into why we reach for food when we are stressed, what is happening in the body when we do, and how to start building a pause between the trigger and the pantry. They talk about stress movement as an alternative and why that can become its own slippery slope if you are not careful. Plus the basics that nobody wants to hear because they are not sexy: eating enough, sleeping enough, drinking enough water, and doing small things every day that actually fill your cup.

No big overhauls, just a more honest conversation about what is actually going on and what actually helps.

Getting more steps in during your workday sounds easy in theory. In real life, not so much. Not when you work at a desk, your brain is cooked, your schedule is crazy, and going for a little walk somehow starts to feel like a whole thing.

@atterbom_ @chloemiz and @krissyclimbs talk about why walking is still one of the most underrated tools for health, recovery, blood sugar, mood, and overall sanity. They break down where “10k a Day” came from, why more is not always better, and how to build a more realistic step goal without making your life revolve around your watch.

They also get into exercise snacks, walking breaks, walking pads, workday routines, and simple ways to move more even when you’re busy, sedentary, or just deeply committed to your excuses. Equal parts helpful and unhinged, this one is basically a pep talk for anyone who knows they’d feel better with more movement but needs a more realistic way to make it happen.

Also: a few hot takes on weather, cities, and trash TV, because obviously.

Trying to conceive can bring hope, pressure, grief, excitement, and about a million questions.

@christin_panchik @kellybaker928 and @chloemiz unpack what fertility reflects in the body and where nutrition, recovery, training, stress, and lifestyle habits can play a meaningful supporting role.

They talk about why eating enough matters, how underfueling and chronic stress can affect cycles and hormone health, the role of carbs, fats, protein, and key micronutrients, and why this season often calls for a major mindset shift away from physique goals and toward overall health. The conversation also touches on sleep, coming off birth control, lab work, and the reality that no two fertility journeys look the same.

This one is both practical and compassionate. A reminder that support matters, your body is not broken, and even when the path is complicated, there are still ways to care for yourself well along the way.

@christin_panchik @_joycemurphy_ and @chloemiz have an honest conversation about the first 12 weeks after birth. What’s happening in the body, why “being cleared at six weeks” is not the same as being fully healed, and how physical recovery, nutrition, nervous system regulation, identity shifts, and societal pressure all collide at once.

They unpack why postpartum isn’t a bounce-back phase, how under-eating and rushing recovery can backfire, and what slowing down, deep nourishment, and rebuilding really look like in practice. The conversation also dives into cultural gaps in postpartum care, the impact of social media expectations, and why community, support, and asking for help matter more than doing it all yourself.

This one is for new moms, seasoned moms, and anyone supporting someone through the fourth trimester who wants real talk, not platitudes (and permission to take their time).

Comparison is everywhere, and it’s one of the fastest ways to lose trust in yourself.

@brookedahook @chloemiz and @simplymander break down why comparison shows up so easily, how social media distorts expectations around training, nutrition, bodies, and progress, and why copying someone else’s plan almost always backfires. They dig into how comparison leads to program hopping, inconsistency, burnout, and feeling like nothing you’re doing is ever good enough. The focus shifts to what actually works: defining success on your own terms, choosing habits that fit your real life, and sticking with them long enough to build confidence, momentum, and results.

Stress eating shows up when stress is high, food has been restricted, and coping skills are stretched thin. It’s a learned coping response rooted in biology, restriction, and modern stress.

@ryannnicoleburke @chloemiz and Maggie break down why stress eating happens, how dieting and body image pressure make it worse, and what actually helps interrupt the cycle without cutting out foods you love.

They cover the nervous system, cortisol, restriction backlash, sleep, and blood sugar, plus practical tools like the HALT check-in, building in intentional treats, walking away from the pantry, and replacing mindless eating with stress relief that actually works.

If food feels like the default answer at the end of a hard day, this episode offers a more realistic, compassionate way forward, grounded in behavior change, not rules. by @chloemiz

Meeting our sweet Cove and seeing Kaia take on the role of big sister were the best gifts of 2025. I’ve loved seeing the bond between them grow these past 5 months, knowing that it’s only going to get sweeter from here. We’re so blessed @kdobeirne by @chloemiz

All this progress was built over many, many months, not 6-8 weeks. No extremes or crash dieting, just people eating well, moving consistently, and adjusting the plan as their goals, schedules, and seasons change.

No matter the clients’ priority or goals at any point in time, the approach stays the same: fundamentals first and long-term consistency > short-term perfection.

This is what happens when nutrition supports movement, health, and life all at the same time. The changes show up AND they stick! by @chloemiz
