The birth I had is the exact one I didn’t think I would have , to get so close to the VBAC I was so ready for and have it taken away from me at the very last second was something I never gave thought to as possible , a reminder that all births play out so differently and they really don’t always go to plan, it’s easy for people to say “safe baby and safe mum is all that matter” because in the scheme of things it is that but the bigger picture holds a lot of trauma, overwhelm, anxiety and so much more as far as maybe never having that 3rd baby because of the way this birth and postpartum has played out … a lot to comprehend, a lot to overcome and a lot to process ❤️‍🩹 but he’s here, yes we are safe & healthy and home as a family of 4 🫶🏼🥹 #birthvlog #birth #birthtrauma #relateable #pregnancy by @chloesapic

After dilating to 10cm , fully effaced and pushing a emergency C-section completely under general anaesthetic where I didn’t get to meet my baby for 2+ hours was never ever the birth I thought i would have, it’s a lot to comprehend it’s a whole new level of processing to do and if your in this too I feel for you Mumma🤎🪐🦌 #relateable #postpartum #csectionawareness #birth by @chloesapic
