Rhythm of the Soul – A Grand Celebration of Indian Classical Dance

The Inter-School Classical Dance Competition 2026, organised under Indore Sahodaya – Samagam, Cluster II, was proudly hosted by Choithram School, Manik Bagh, Indore, celebrating the timeless beauty and grandeur of Indian classical dance. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 21 schools across Indore, with young performers captivating the audience through graceful movements, expressive storytelling, intricate footwork and exquisite traditional costumes. Each performance reflected the devotion, discipline and cultural richness embedded in India’s classical dance traditions. The distinguished jury, comprising Mrs. Purva Sagorkar, Mr. Ashish Pillai and Mrs. Jyotsana Sohoni, appreciated the participants for their artistic excellence, technical precision and expressive brilliance. Following a spectacular showcase of talent, the Four Best Performances were recognised from Delhi Public School, Nipania; Army Public School, Mhow; Medi-Caps International School; and Delhi Public School, Rau. The event concluded with a vibrant prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the spirit of artistic expression and cultural pride. Navratri Celebration – Montessori Block
The Montessori Block celebrated Navratri with joy and festive enthusiasm.
As part of the celebration, children participated in a Dandiya-themed art
activity. Sr. Montessori children coloured and decorated their Dandiya Raas
artwork using the sponge-dabbing technique, while Jr. Montessori and
Nursery children enjoyed colouring and sticker-pasting activities.
The celebration ended on a joyful note with a lively Garba dance. Children
danced enthusiastically to traditional music, filling the Montessori Block

Special Assembly Report – Class III E

Theme: Peace

The students of Class III E presented a special assembly on the theme “Peace.” The presentation featured a short and meaningful skit in which different animals of a forest tried to resolve a conflict among them. Through their conversations and actions, the students highlighted the importance of understanding, cooperation, kindness, and peaceful conflict resolution.

The skit conveyed the message that conflicts can be resolved through effective communication, mutual respect, and teamwork rather than anger or arguments. The presentation concluded with the valuable lesson that peace and harmony can be maintained when we respect one another and work together.

The assembly was an engaging and thoughtful presentation that encouraged students to become more understanding, compassionate, and responsible individuals who contribute towards creating a peaceful environment. by @choithramschoolmanikbagh

विद्यार्थी - शिक्षिका वार्ता

प्रार्थना सभा में प्राथमिक विभाग के हिंदी विभाग की ओर से मीता पंडित मैम ने बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए समझाया कि जीवन में अनुशासन का पालन करना और बड़ों की बात मानना क्यों आवश्यक है। उन्होंने बताया कि बड़ों के अनुभव और मार्गदर्शन से हम सही और गलत के बीच अंतर करना सीखते हैं तथा जीवन में सही निर्णय लेने के योग्य बनते हैं।

साथ ही, उन्होंने बच्चों को यह भी समझाया कि प्रत्येक बच्चा अपने बड़ों के लिए अनमोल है। बड़े सदैव बच्चों की भलाई चाहते हैं। वे उन्हें अच्छी बातें सिखाते हैं, उनकी गलतियों को सुधारते हैं तथा उनकी सुरक्षा और बेहतर भविष्य के लिए उनका ध्यान रखते हैं।

इस वार्ता के माध्यम से बच्चों को अनुशासन का पालन करने, बड़ों के प्रति सम्मान रखने और उनकी सीख को समझने के महत्त्व से अवगत कराया गया। by @choithramschoolmanikbagh

“The Foundation of Quality Education, the Creation of a Brighter Future”
Education is not limited to textbook knowledge; rather, it is the foundation of the holistic development
of students. Keeping this in mind, on October 13, 2026, the students of Class Ill ‘F’ of the Primary
Department of Choithram School presented an inspiring skit on the theme of Quality Education during
the special assembly.
Through this skit, the students highlighted the importance of quality education and conveyed that the
purpose of education is not merely to achieve good marks but also to develop knowledge, creativity,
moral values, and life skills. Through their performances, the students conveyed the message that every
child should be provided with equal opportunities, encouragement, and a positive learning
environment. They also highlighted the important role of teachers and the effectiveness of activity
based learning.
The main objective of this presentation was to develop students’ interest in education, curiosity, self
confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning, while also creating awareness about the
importance of quality education.

Activity: Show and tell “ My Expressions” Activity
“Show and Tell: My Expressions” activity was conducted by the Junior
Montessori on 15-10-26 to encourage children to express themselves
confidently and creatively. Children brought their favourite objects and spoke a
few lines about them, sharing why they liked them and what made them special.
They also dressed up or carried related items to make their presentation more
creative. The activity helped develop their communication skills, confidence,

The students of Class XII-D presented an inspiring Special Assembly, celebrating the divine power of Adi Shakti Maa Durga and highlighting the importance of women empowerment. The presentation beautifully connected Maa Durga’s courage, strength and victory over evil with the challenges faced by women in contemporary society. Through this meaningful blend of mythology and modern realities, the students conveyed that every woman embodies the spirit of Shakti and possesses the courage to overcome obstacles and challenge injustice. The assembly emphasised the importance of respecting women, upholding gender equality and providing equal opportunities for all. It concluded with a powerful message of strength, dignity and empowerment.

Making waves with their exceptional talent and determination, the young swimmers of Choithram School, Manik Bagh, Indore, delivered an outstanding performance at the Inter-School Swimming Competition organised by Shishukunj School. Showcasing remarkable speed, skill and sporting spirit, Varshil Gupta won a Silver Medal, while Ayansh Basin, Ronish Anglani, Anaisha Khandelwal and Ishanvi Pareek proudly clinched Bronze Medals. Every stroke reflected their dedication, perseverance and passion for excellence, bringing immense pride to the CSMB family. 7th and 8th October 2026 in association with Vigyantaram Technologies, New Delhi. The
workshop aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge of robotics, introduce them to
emerging technologies, and familiarize them with the real-life applications of robotics through hands-on activities and project-based learning. The workshop was conducted at three levels according to the students’ grades and learning requirements.
Vigyantaram Technologies opened an opportunity for students who excelled during the workshop to participate in a National-Level Robotics Championship at IIT Delhi on 16th and 17th December 2026. by @choithramschoolmanikbagh

“Different cultures, one world, united by the joy of learning!”
A Parent Involvement Programme was conducted on 13th October 2026 for Sr. Montessori children under the International Dimension initiative focusing on India and Bhutan.
Two parents from each class, dressed in traditional Bhutanese attire, engaged the children in exciting activities such as Bhutanese Mask-Making, Exploring Indian and Bhutanese Cultures, and Learning Simple Bhutanese Dance Steps.

चोइथराम विद्यालय के प्राथमिक विभाग में कक्षा-पाँचवी में पाठ-‘’हे भगवान तू ज़मीन पर आकर तो देख’’ के अंतर्गत एक रचनात्मक गतिविधि –इच्छा चक्र करवाई गई| इस गतिविधि में शिक्षक द्वारा एक आकर्षक इच्छा चक्र तैयार किया गया| जिसमें विभिन्न रोचक परिस्थितियाँ लिखी गईं | प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी ने बारी-बारी से इच्छा चक्र घुमाया और चक्र जिस परिस्थिति पर आकर रुका, विद्यार्थी ने उसी विषय पर अपने विचार एवं भावनाएँ कक्षा के सामने व्यक्त कीं | किसी विद्यार्थी ने अपने मन की इच्छा बताई तो किसी ने कल्पना की कि यदि उसे किसी समस्या को बदलने का अवसर मिले तो वह क्या बदलेगा| कुछ विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी बात हास्यपूर्ण और रचनात्मक अंदाज़ में रखी जिससे कक्षा के अन्य विद्यार्थियों ने को बहुत ही आनंद आया | इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों की मौखिक अभिव्यक्ति,कल्पनाशक्ति,त्वरित चिंतन,आत्मविश्वास आदि विकसित हुआ| by @choithramschoolmanikbagh
