Foodie finds - 24 hours in York

York might be one of England’s oldest and prettiest cities but it is also boasts fantastic food and drink.

🥐 The most incredible array of homemade pastries and breads at microbakery @littlearras, with great coffee from @squaremilecoffee

🔪 French style bistro @choppingblockyork serves excellent food with friendly, knowledgeable staff. It is the home of @walmgateale and sister to award winning @meltons_restaurant

🍸 Blink and you’ll miss the secret entrance to @thehihoclub2, the speakeasy style cocktail bar serving unique flavour combinations

🍳 Possibly one of the most impressive brunches I’ve ever had @blackwheatclub, they make everything from scratch including the sourdough which is also available to purchase

It's National Creme Brûlée Day (yes, really!)

One of my favourite puds, the best I've had is from Walmgate's @choppingblockyork. Silky smooth, with that all-important caramelised top. Magic!

Speaking of magic...don't forget to book The Wizard Walk this summer, and find out why families say it's the Creme of the crop! 🤪

🍯Sticky Toffee Pudding🍯

An English classic, and a near on permanent on our menu.

A warm sticky pudding with a deep toffee sauce, vanilla ice cream and a caramel shard
