The time has come to bid a fond farewell to our talented young chef @mitch_barson as he heads down to London to start work at the mighty, one Michelin starred, Dorian.
•
Having worked for us for just over a year, Mitch started out as a stagiaire and quickly proved himself to be a real asset within the kitchen team. Possessing a work ethic seldom seen in someone so young and a skillset that could rival chefs with considerably more experience than him, it was a no brainer to offer him a permanent role within the kitchen brigade. He has been a joy to work with and it has been great to witness him grow in confidence and work his way around all four sections of the kitchen, gleaning valuable knowledge and experience along the way.
•
Mitch, thanks for all your graft this last year and from all of us here at Melton's, we wish you all the best for the future! We have zero doubts you will go on to do great things in the culinary world! Don't be a stranger, our door is always open ❤️

P.S. We will keep the Mise en place playlists full of Northern Soul and just a notch too loud in your honour 🫡 by @meltons_restaurant

Lucy is currently pairing this one with a clean and refreshing Alasia Brachetto d'Acqui. With its low alcohol content, gentle effervescence and aroma of crushed Raspberries, this one really is a match made in heaven. Hats off to you Lucy, you've absolutely nailed this one! 🤌 by @meltons_restaurant
