My LX will be out of commish for a little bit (getting front and rear bumpers finalized) but I am dying to get on the dirt and camp. I could take my 2G Taco but the suspension will probably fall apart once it hits dirt 😂

So here’s an old pic of a Taco I no longer own. This taco is now in the hands of @issa__johnnny by @choyota

I just spent the last month or so completely checked out of anything related to offroad + camping, and posting about it.

It’s pretty hard to stay consistently engaged for multiple years straight as a hobby without having lulls. I see it around - the guys who had been lurking on the socials and been on the trails since I’ve started have largely fell off here. The guys new to this world are doing barrel rolls on the dirt to get the best 📸 angles for their trucks while planning massive runs to all the popular overland tourist traps. It’s kinda hard to rediscover that same newbie excitement of the past, personally.

Anyways, I have a multitude of things to install/modify that I’ve been slow to move on, and a few cool products to show off on social media.

So hopefully I can get that going again soon.

Last month I was showing my daughter old photos from my childhood and came across my first car ever, an ‘88 Toyota Camry.

Hundreds and hundreds of photos that lived in shoeboxes and photo albums, and I never could find a photograph until now (well, last month). I sat there on the couch in amazement. As you could imagine, there wasn’t cloud storage or smart phones 30 years ago, so this was a real treat.

I scanned the photo, touched it up. Guess things come full-circle.

Getting high doesn’t fix this problem.

“You can’t lose on 42s”

We had the pleasure of meeting Chad aka @j2hundy_outfitters at @cruisersontherockies this year, and he guided us through Corkscrew in the afternoon after we all kicked back at Ouray Hot Springs during the daytime. Big shout-out to Chad, and it was a pleasure hanging out during multiple occasions at the event!

Made it to COTR3 with the Kidz from Southern California.

Thanks to the fellas who helped allow that reset button to be smashed with a hammer 🔨

Really needed this for sure. Even skipped out on the first in-person mega company party in 6-7 years.
